"Firstly this is not a negative review. Great hotel fantastic staff in a superb location. The hotel itself however could use some updating. A little outdated and definitely could use some paint/new furniture. If that was done would transform this hotel. I am planning another trip to Sardinia and will definitely stay in this hotel again."

"Our stay at Abi d’Oru was simply unforgettable and exceeded all of our expectations. From the very first welcome to our final farewell, every member of the team made us feel genuinely cared for. Everyone greeted us with warm smiles, kindness, and sincere hospitality throughout our stay. Before we even arrived, the concierge team helped us organize transfers and excursions with great patience and professionalism, making our trip completely stress-free. Once we arrived, every interaction with the staff at the front, the restaurants, the pool, actually everywhere was wonderful. In fact, there were so many people who made our stay special that it became impossible to remember every name—we wish we could thank each of them personally. The natural beauty surrounding the resort is breathtaking. The crystal-clear sea, peaceful atmosphere, and beautiful gardens created the perfect place to relax and enjoy precious family time. This trip was especially meaningful because it was our daughter’s last family vacation before she begins her professional career next year. Thanks to everyone at Abi d’Oru, it became a truly unforgettable memory that our family will cherish forever. "We truly enjoyed our time on the stunning Costa Smeralda, and our experience was enhanced by our host Angela, who provided us with great information about the property, local attractions, and restaurants. Being from Sardinia, she had fantastic recommendations that helped make our holiday unforgettable. The view from the balcony was captivating, offering a wonderfully relaxing start to our mornings with breakfast and a delightful way to unwind with a glass of wine in the evening. The property is dog-friendly, and the area is ideal for taking your furry friend for a walk along the coastal path down to the sea or around the beautifully kept grounds. A car is essential, whether you rent one from nearby Olbia Airport or drive your own. If you choose to drive to Sardinia, you can skip the busy port of Olbia by taking Sardinia Ferries from the charming beach resort of Golfo Aranci, which is just 20 minutes from the property. Driving from the port of Porto Torres is also quick and takes only about 90 minutes."

"The grounds were simply breathtaking. Its own private beaches with outstanding views. Quaint library room stocked with books, multiple cozy areas with plush couches all over the hotel where one can sit and relax, multiple dining areas, beautiful pools, delicious buffet breakfast, direct access to the marina walkway bringing you to multiple restaurants, cafes and shopping. The hotel hostess, Carla, is an absolute gem and catered to our every need. Alessandro took incredible care of us at breakfast and preempted our daily coffee and tea requests :) The rooms are fine, although brittle bed sheets and not great pillows but that would not deter me from returning. Even the chamber maids made sure we had what we needed and bent over backwards to accommodate. I absolutely loved my stay and look forward to a return visit. "
