"Our party of 14 celebrates a weekend birthday away and loved it here. The house was clean, spacious and afforded great views of the ocean. The fact that it was so well stocked in the pantry and fridge, as well as already coming with May board games and a PS4 meant we also needed to pack a lot less. Location wise it was walking distance to trails, cafes and parks, not to mention a short drive to Dromana and wineries. Though there were some minor maintenance quibbles with small water leaks, we still wouldn’t hesitate to come here again for our next weekend away in the Peninsula. "

"The rooms are in need of an upgrade. Our wardrobe could not be opened without slamming into the room door which is obviously not ideal it was also very dusty on the shelving in there. There was dust and scuffs around the walls and weirdly only a single bedside lamp in our room. The rooms could benefit from some fresh paint and a dust. The bathroom was beautiful but one of the hooks wasnt even attached to the wall so it fell off when a towel was hung on it. Also, we found it strange that you aren't given any map or guidance about where to find things around the property at check in like the indoor pool which we ended up finding by accident. These are all little things but in a 5 star property they shouldn't be an issue. "

"Great relaxing stay witha beautiful view"

"We had a fantastic stay at Chateau Rouge – Provincial Home Red Hill with our extended family plus little kids and 2 dogs. The house throughout is beautifully styled and well laid out. The living kitchen dining areas were really spacious, well appointed and very comfortable. The fire place added to the cozy atmosphere. The bedrooms and bathrooms were neat and very clean. The dogs and kids were well contained in the back yard and the trampoline was a hit with the kids. The location is very convenient to local wineries and there is a little acfe within walking distance.We would love to stay there again."
