This is a beautiful property, just like a dream. Perfect location, with superb view. The staff was so lovely. They even packed us breakfast the day we left because it was early, and we had no chance to have coffee. The dinner on the terrace was very romantic. I can't recommend this Quinta enough.

Wonderful stay in Douro Valley

Fantastic place to stay, with a wonderful view over the Duoro River from our room and the dining and sitting rooms. Attentive and friendly waitstaff at dinner (suggested wines to pair with each course) and breakfasts. Hiked up the hill to even better views on their vineyard roads, drove to Pinhão for the 2-hr boat cruise to Tua, a Miradouro and wine tasting above Pinhão, also close to Sandeman’s Quinta do Seixo for old tawny tasting and to Quinta do Tedo for Bistro Terrace dinner.

Lovely stay in heart of Douro Valley

Our room was so comfortable with an exterior door and sitting area. One of 10 rooms on the property it was a quiet location. Breakfast is delicious overlooking the river and valley. Small menu is available all day (til 5:00) and special dinner is served nightly at 7:30 from a very limited but delicious menu. Make reservations before 5 pm of the day you wish eat. Love the wine tasting and review and all the wines are available for purchase and very reasonably priced. Close to Penhao and many other wineries and activities. I’d highly recommend this Quinta. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Nice pool, walking areas and covered parking.

Fantastic is the word that comes to mind. From the moment we entered the Quinta, we experienced phenomenal customer service, absolutely fantastic food, and a clean, safe, and very reasonably priced piece of paradise. We can't say enough good about the staff, the tranquility, the location, the facilities, and the food and wine. Quinta do Pego is an absolute winner and a must for anyone visiting the Douro Valley and Pinhao.

Beautiful hotel. Absolutely stunning views from our patio. Breakfast and dinner were amazing. Our room was incredibly clean. The drive up to the hotel was a challenge,(for us) however, the staff drove our luggage down to our car after our stay. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
