Everything’s perfect, I ❤️ the location the BEST, very, very convenient to everything. Staffs are very nice, place is clean and we feel safe. Thank you much it doesn’t matter 2,3 star the important thing is safety and the people you meet everyday.

Trip to Tacloban

Good customer service. Easy check in and check out process. Great location. Good security. The place itself is old - need to do MAJOR renovations. The room did smell - like gutter - but it’s the same smell as the toilets from Robinson. I did had to purchase a room spray, but still had the lingering smell. If you want budget this would be the place.

The checkin process was a bit slow.Only one staff was available in the counter while there was a queue (the supervisor inside the office could have help her).The room looks old and needs updating. Paint is faded and toilet has stained and visible damage. Lack of toilet paper.The room is too small that you cant have space to put your luggage if you have more than one.And you don't have enough space to walk or do some morning stretching.

A clean no frills hotel

The GoHotel in Tacloban is located adjacent to Robinson's Place, Marasbaras, with ample parking. The front desk personnel are friendly. The check-in process wasn't very efficient. I booked online but was still required to fill in my personal details on one paper then asked to provide similar information on a second page so the hotel could "get to know a bit more about me." I and other guests were asked to wait in a sitting area in the lobby for about ten minutes until called back to the front desk for the key and room number. I don't think there any rooms on the first floor. Neither of the two elevators are in service for access to rooms on higher floors. It's possible that all of the hotel's accommodations are on the second floor. My guess is elevator problems are ongoing here, based on the well made barrier complete with a professionally lettered sign in place to inform guests of the non working elevators. I carried my large suitcase up the stairs to the second floor. I suspect any of the hotel employees would have eagerly done this for me if I had asked. The corridors between the rooms are easily five meters wide, featuring long centerpieces two meters wide and as long as each corridor, which have the appearance of being filled with lunar dust and occasional chunks of volcanic rock. I've never seen a feature as elaborate yet so desolate. The auditory ambience of the corridors is poor with every voice echoing off the hard surfaces in the sparsely appointed hallways.

For the price, this is the best spot around Tacloban. Great hotel in a prime location right next to the mall. Staff was great. Only complaint is the AC would not work good enough to keep my room cool to my comfort. But, it was decent enough considering I was there in August.

Great staff and location for easy access to mall and close to downtown. Room was small and didnt have any closet space to put my luggage and some areas of the room needed repair( laptop stand was fragile withe only 2 bolts holding it down). Other than that it was good enough for the 2 weeks i stayed there. Staff is great and nice and friendly and always accommodated whatever i needed in timely manner( asked for extra towels which they brought up asap and the battery for the room key was out a d they changed it asap as well.
