Enjoy water views, walkways, and parks for hiking, jogging, or cycling. Just down the street are lovely Pickleball and tennis courts in Point Defiance Park. Bird watchers love these 5 acres of bliss! The Point Defiance 5 mile loop is closed to cars so you can walk or cycle the complete park. Pack a lunch, and picnic down at park's bayside attraction -- Owen Beach on the water (Kayak rentals, too!)

The Vashon Ferry is just down the street so you can walk on or drive on and day trip on scenic Vashon. Start your morning with coffee and breakfast on the water at Point Ruston! Evenings light up with bay view dining. Happy hours are happier on the water! Right up the street is a fantastic Italian neighborhood eatery and bar (Macaluso’s); burgers and beer (Cole’s) and of course the entire selection of dining and entertainment Point Ruston on the water. Point Ruston on Commencement Bay showcases Dune Park, water walk promenade, electric bike rentals.
