Whether you're here for a romantic getaway, solo photography, fun adventures with friends, business, or family vacations, our house caters to all—permit # 117 850.
The house can be rented as a 3-, 4-, or 5-bedroom. You can add or remove bedrooms up to 48 hrs before checking in. The nightly rate for a three-bedroom apartment is $750, a four-bedroom apartment is $850, and a five-bedroom apartment is $950 plus tax. The cleaning fee is $400 per stay for 3 bedrooms, $450 per stay for 4 bedrooms, and $500 per stay for 5 bedrooms.
The heart of the house is a fully equipped kitchen with everything you need to cook and bake.
Our kitchen opens on a large custom-made table that seats up to 10 people and offers filtered views of the lake and Eagle Rock.
The kitchen also opens on a deck, ideally furnished for relaxing or barbecuing, with a table and benches in the summer.
The living room is next to the kitchen. It has a large sofa where you can read, watch TV, or play board games.
All three bedrooms are located apart from one another for ultimate privacy and quiet time.
Main house: -- Top floor: = > Master 1 has a queen-size bed. Open bathroom with a shower. = > Bedroom 1 has a queen bed and a twin bed bunked together.
-- Garden level: = > Master 2 has a king-size bed and a twin bed. Bathroom with a shower.
Second unit: = > Master 3 has a queen-size bed and a twin bunk bed. A sofa that opened into a comfortable queen-sized bed (linen for the sofa upon request). Bathroom with a bathtub and a shower.

The garden is fully fenced, which is unique in the Tahoe area and quite a gift if you stay here with children or are allowed to bring a pet. The yard is oriented south and has a horseshoe run and a fire pit to talk endlessly under the stars, unless you prefer to relax in the hot tub after a long hike, water skiing in the lake, or a day on the slopes. Aspens, maples, poplars, and pines bring you the shade you want and need in the summer to rock you into a well-deserved nap. We put out chairs and a summer sofa when the days are warm.
We have some A/C in the top master bedrooms. All rooms have windows on all sides and fan towers to create a breeze.

One dog per stay is allowed at the house. for a fee of $100 per stay. It would be best if you inquired first.

Great location. Loved having “private” spaces for each couple to retreat to if needed - the house is well built for togetherness and alone time when needed.
The location is close to Tahoe City and includes private beach access. Additionally, the house has amenities that kept everyone involved and enjoying being together. It really was a great family connect location.
The house was well cared for and well equipped The location is wonderful and being able to use the private beach area at Sunnyside made it so convenient to go the the lake. The back yard is well laid out and has fun games for the family. Laure was very responsive to my questions and had the property manager over quickly to tweak a small issue. It’s a great house for your time in Tahoe
Our party of 10 had an amazing stay at this property over the July 4th week! The house has plenty of space and was stocked for entertainment for all ages. The house was clean and comfortable and the private beach access made this whole week all that much better! Already talking about when we can make another trip back!
Location is good to both Northstar and Palisades. House is clean and good for families. Hot tub is well maintained. Overall we had a really good time. Pro tip: the road the house is on is a loop starting and ending on 89. If you drive away from Tahoe City the entrance to 89 has much better visibility making it much easier to enter 89 in both directions.
Great location. Excellent restaurants and a short walk to Lake Tahoe. Met up with friends prior to running the Rubicon Jeep Trail. House was clean and in good condition. Almost everything is in walking distance. Great weekend!
The vacation was a huge success in large part to the property we rented. It was perfect. The weather was hot but because of the access to the private beach it did not matter. We had 11 people staying and the house handled the group easily. I highly recommend this property.

The location is good, the weather was beautiful and Laure responded quickly to us. This residence is not suited for small children and/or anyone with mobility issues due to the stairs connecting the levels.
Perfect big house for our large group ski trip. We loved the ability to adjust the # of rooms to our group size - it really is what influenced us to pick this property. Kitchen is very well-stocked which made group dinners easy and fun, we loved the great big kitchen table. E
Laure was very pleasant to work with and went out of her way to explain things during the payment and check-in process.
Great location - quiet but close to the slopes and stores
We had a fun time in this property! The living room filled with large windows gave a very nice view to the snow scape! The outdoor hot tub was a nice touch with a nice view! BBQ grill is conveniently located on the deck right next to the ktichen and dinning room which made it extra convenient to cook and serve. Besides the tedious process of turning off and unhooking the bear wires everytime we go outside, the overall experience of the stay was very nice!
Seriously a wonderful place to gather family and friends. I hosted my extended family over Thanksgiving weekend. There was a snow storm during that week but stopped as we arrived. Street & driveway access was easy (w/o chains) even when icy. The grandkids loved playing in the snowy backyard, the parents loved the hot tub, we all like the private spaces we had, and the kitchen was great for cooking for the bunch. Our only snafu was, although listed, the BBQ was (understandably) stored for winter and we needed to pivot the menu. Owner and manager were all helpful - including ways to remedy the BBQ situation. I love that the place and TWO dryers. The pleasures of life!
My family loves the West Shore, and the house is located near the lake and close to a private access beach. We were able to reserve a picnic table the days we went there, and we could take our dog in the morning until 10am. We could walk to the beach from the house, but it does require crossing a very busy main road without a crosswalk.
The house is designed well if you have a larger group but still want to have some separate space/privacy. The fourth and fifth rooms are in a separate unit across the porch. I would note that it does require taking stairs to get all of the five rooms. If you aren't sure you need all rooms, I'd recommend going with less and adding more once you confirm that you need 4 or 5. I found it a bit confusing trying to discern the pricing differences when updating my reservation.
There were a few things that could be improved, which I have communicated directly to Laure. Overall, our family had a great time during our week in Tahoe.
We had a great snow weekend with 3 families, ages 5 to 72. This space is amazing and the various rooms are truly beautiful, especially the two upstairs suites with gorgeous light and views. Recommended!Caution: triple-check your pricing with a message to the owner, beyond just the automated platform messages. The owner is trying to do a pretty cool thing here by offering variable pricing for adding on different spaces - unfortunately it's too advanced for VRBO's abilities. The result is that you may wind up with an inaccurate quote. In our case that initial math (miscalculated by VRBO, according to the owner's desired calculation) went uncorrected for several months, until the owner asked for a correction that increased cost by roughly 40% at a date when it was too late to find alternate properties. I think the owner is entirely honest here though I wish the mistake were caught sooner. I appreciate the owner's communication and good-faith negotiation to resolve this.More & better info: the backyard is gorgeous and probably makes a really fun kiddo sled run with a foot or two of snow. The bear fencing at three separate doors is a bit strange and off-putting, though I see it's becoming the norm in this neighborhood. I wish the confirmation lights worked better to clearly display when it were armed. A really great beach is just a 10min walk downhill! The street and driveway at the house are easy but road is steep near Hwy 89.

Outdoor space was great for a large family. The hot tub and corn hole game were fun for evenings outside. The property itself had some areas that could benefit from improvement. The bathrooms were updated (although worth mentioning that the master bath does not have a door-- it is open floor plan into the bedroom. For families sharing bathrooms this makes coordination awkward at times and would have been nice to know prior to booking) and nice but the outdoor porch from the main floor looks like it needs some work. Additionally, the areas in the house could benefit from cleaning -- for example the light fixtures in the kitchen clearly hadn't been cleaned. They were covered with greasy dust and dead gnats. Additionally, the lock boxes on the doors are old and very difficult to open. We got off to a rocky start with the host. A lot of the check in procedures and information were not clear and she was not available to respond to questions we had but once we were on the second day of our stay she did respond and we worked through issues we needed. Access to the local HoA beach was a direct walk down the hill but it would be nice to offer beach chairs or something for renters so that when people travel to the house they are able to take something to sit on at the beach since it's rocky. If you're traveling from out of state, this isn't something you can bring in travel luggage.
The place is perfect for a family to relax and enjoy time away from the hustle. The private beach access is an excellent perk. The home is clean and even nicer than the pictures.
We enjoyed our stay and Laure was very helpful before and during the stay. Kitchen was well stocked for cooking, however knives very very dull and we always felt short on towels.
