This pet-friendly, two-story home sits in a peaceful, woodsy setting in Tahoma, about 15 minutes south of Tahoe City and 15 minutes north of Emerald Bay. The Tahoma (TCPOA) HOA Beach and Pier are just over half a mile away, offering lake access by path or dock, with buoys available for rent. The home is a short-term rental only and accommodates up to six guests.

Living areas
The main living area is located on the upper level, where the kitchen and living room come together around a rock fireplace that’s especially welcoming during winter months. Heating keeps the space comfortable, and WiFi, TV, and Roku provide easy evenings in. A dedicated workspace is available if you need a quiet spot to check in or work remotely.

Kitchen and dining
The kitchen is fully equipped for preparing meals at home and connects to a dining table with seating for up to ten. Whether you’re cooking after a day on the slopes or enjoying a relaxed dinner with your group, the open layout keeps everyone connected. An electric grill is available seasonally.

Sleeping arrangements
The upper level features the primary bedroom with a king bed and a private full bathroom that includes a jacuzzi tub. Downstairs, the second bedroom offers a queen bed, while the third bedroom includes two twin bunk beds. TV access is available in nearly every bedroom, making it easy for everyone to unwind at their own pace. The home has 2.5 bathrooms in total.

Outdoor features
Step outside to enjoy the fully fenced yard and deck, or soak in the hot tub after a cold-weather adventure. The setting is quiet and forested, ideal for peaceful mornings and calm evenings. Parking is available for a maximum of four cars, per county ordinance.

Pet-friendly details
This home is pet-friendly and dogs are considered. Prior approval is required to bring more than one dog. All dogs must be at least one year old and may not be left unattended unless crate trained. An extra-large dog crate is provided in the garage and cannot be removed. No pets other than dogs are allowed. If you are bringing a dog, there is an additional fee of $100+tax per dog.

Important notes
There is no air conditioning. Quiet hours must be observed between 10 PM and 8 AM. Maximum nighttime occupancy is six people, and renters must be at least 25 years old. The property uses a noise monitoring device for county compliance. Exterior security cameras are present - a Ring camera at the front door and a Ring floodlight mounted above the garage facing the driveway. During winter, chains or snow tires are often required.
