It’s got a lovely family atmosphere in a unique setting - totally unlike the big chain hotels and so much nicer. Also it’s within the historic city walls and all the best sights are a few minutes’ walk away.

Excellent Tallinn accommodation

Great location and view from the bedroom window. Key code to get in on arrival was a bit of a challenge but they are into codes in Estonia. Concierge only 8 - 5 so there’s no one to ask about anything if you arrive after 5 as we did. There is a small kitchen and sitting out area where you can make your own tea and coffee but nothing in the rooms. Breakfast was simple but good.

Nice hotel for a night. No elevator tho. I wish I knew that or gotten a room on the first floor. I had a big suitcase and only by luck another guest helped me at night. For my early flight I had to drag it down on the narrow stairwell myself. Also it was a little dark outside in front of the hotel. Otherwise, it’s conveniently located and has an easy self check-in after 5pm👌

Good for visiting the old Tallinn

The place is perfect. Right in the old city, a few minutes from the port. Staff is friendly and helpful. There is a small kitchen for quick use. Room is cozy.

Very pleasant and helpful staff. Excellent proximity to the Old Town. Great common room/small kitchenette for guests, doubling as a sun room. Bedroom was adequate and clean, and good value for the price. Not a fan of staff absence between 5pm and 8am, when systems went on automatic, but some may prefer that arrangement. However, I would recommend the Taanilinna Hotell and would have rated it 4.5 stars if the scoring system allowed that option.

The hotel was in a good location and clean, etc. However, the room we were given was underground and a bit depressing with a single window high, which you could not see through. Breakfast was not good; better to have breakfast in one of the nearby cafes

Nice and cozy, some details need impovement

The room was nice and cozy, decorated with romantic style. The bed wasn’t the most comfortable, but it was acceptable for a one-night stay. Unfortunately, there were dirty dishes left in the room when we arrived, and the toilet didn’t flush properly. Sound insulation was quite poor – we could hear other guests during the night. On the positive side, the shared balcony was a nice feature, and the location was excellent. Breakfast was basic but ok.
