Proprietor was exceptional. He took and picked up our laundry as we were short on time. Breakfast was excellent with home made yogurt. Very helpful. Room nicely appointed. Would say the overall experience A 4.8

Sidewalk view is modest, but once inside all has been thought out to update and anticipate guest needs. Some rooms are two flights up but the staircase is wide, steps not high, and railing on both sides. No problem going up with a suitcase. Very attentive welcome. Quiet beautiful avenue.

This is one of the most wonderful and comfortable places I have ever stayed. The property is beautiful, the rooms are very large (even by US standards), the breakfast was fantastic, but the people were beyond all expectations. Henri, Veldi, Dominique, and Norwin (the folks who manage and run the place) are the most wonderful, welcoming, friendly and kind people you will meet as a traveler. Truly an exceptional visit. There are no downsides. Just fantastic.

We had a lovely stay at this charming little B&B in Avignon, run by a very kind and warm-hearted couple. Neither of the owners spoke fluent English, but we were able to communicate perfectly well using a translation app. I also did my best to practice my elementary French, which made the experience feel even more personal and memorable. This hotel was the highlight of our Provence trip. The owner and the staff couldn’t have been more attentive. They are generous on their servings. Hotel 1770 & Spa served as our home base during the week we spent visiting Avignon, L'Isle-sur-la-Sorgue, Pont du Gard, Arles, and Nimes. Sandine, the Hotel Manager, and all the staff were very friendly and helpful.
