The room overlooked the ocean and the beach was a 50 yd walk to the beach. Rob was an excellent host and very knowlegeable of the area. Breakfast was wonderful.

Excellent accommodation. Very nice host who helps with all your questions and requests, but never pushes you in. Ideal place to unwind or to explore the Abel Tasman NP by rental car. The breakfast is perfect - especially because you are not tied to a specific time in the morning. Thank you for the lovely stay!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Waters. It is a lovely property and the family/owners are wonderful. Rob is a wealth of knowledge about the area and New Zealand. He was able to book an activity for us after hours for the next day which was amazing. He also offered a charcuterie board and wine dinner to end our busy day! We would definitely return here and highly recommend to others!

Fabulous managers. Incredible spot with ocean and pond type views. First rate breakfast provided daily in your own refrigerator. Not a lot of rooms so the place has a very private feel. I loved everything about it.

Wonderful place

Fantastiskt vackert b&b. Att ha en uteplats på var sida av rummet var en riktig bonus. Morgonsol på ena sidan och kvällssol på andra. Andrea and Isaac were perfect welcoming host. Really nice and helpful people.

Very friendly staff who went out of their way to accommodate our needs. Abundant breakfast, gorgeous views over the Tasman Bay and a very comfortable sleep. Would definitely book here again.

The perfect getaway with amazing views.

I didn’t want to leave! This place is a hidden gem and one K.D. the best places I’ve ever stayed. The room was everything I could have needed with an incredibly comfortable bed. The breakfast was great and so convenient to have it in your room the night before so you could eat whenever worked for you the next day. And the views...they can’t be beat. The sunrise over the ocean is just outside your door and the haze from the sunset over the mountains in the distance at your back door. Such a beautiful and relaxing space and the woman who runs it is a great wealth of knowledge about the area. I will be back....and hoping sooner than later.

Could be fantastic

Beautifully set on the coast in a quiet location. Fantastic room design. Could be ideal, but: came Into a room that smelled from smoke (turn to be burning wood in the area), The place would greatly benefit from a-heating (the heating system blows air directly at the head of the bad but is not sufficient to hold the temperature); b-clean new towels; bathroom rugs, (the floor was freezing). The lady owner was extremely helpful and nice.
