Fully Renovated & equipped 2 bedroom, 2 bath condo with gorgeous ocean views

CABANA DAYDREAMIN’
This is one of the most sought after rentals in all of Ocean Pointe Suites. This unit has over 60 five star reviews with other rental sites! Updated tropical decor, new sofa, new washer/dryer, updated kitchen & appliances, open layout, new twin over full bunk beds, rod storage and more!!!

Our condo has everything you'll need to make your vacation one to remember.

The master suite has a king size bed, private master bath and flat screen TV. The guest bedroom has a twin over FULL bunk bed and connects directly into the shared hall bath. All beds have full linens including cotton sheets and lightweight comforters. There is a full size blow up air mattress also. Pool and beach towels are also provided.

The kitchen is fully stocked with UPDATED stainless appliances, cooking utensils, cutlery, cookware, coffee maker, keurig, blender, dishes and more - everything you'll need for cooking and eating in. The unit also has a washer and dryer for use during your stay.

The living room features a 55 inch HD Smart TV, several games, DVD/Blu-ray player, and Netflix access. There is also an assortment of board games and DVD's.

Tennis racquets and tennis balls, a basketball and a small carrying cooler are provided as well.

Located on 60 acres in Tavernier, nestled in between Islamorada and Key Largo! A short 15min boat ride to the world famous Islamorada sandbar!

Private and gated Ocean Pointe grounds offers a tropical paradise. Tropically inspired buildings with blue roofs and shutters blend into a natural setting of green foliage, the blue Atlantic Ocean, and white sand. Brand new siding on all buildings & tropical landscaping!

No resort in the Florida Keys is complete without a marina, and Ocean Pointe is no exception. For an additional fee payable to the Condo association the Ocean Pointe Marina can accommodate crafts up to to 28 feet with access to the boat ramp and boat trailer parking. Please ask for the Ocean Pointe Marina costs and requirements. RESERVATIONS FOR A SLIP OR TRAILER PARKING MUST BE MADE IN ADVANCE.

While you're not out fishing or diving, you can lounge by the junior olympic sized swimming pool - which has been totally renovated in 2016 - complete with lounge chairs, a walk-up refreshment bar, and spa hot tub.

For a dip in the Atlantic Ocean, there is the sandy beach cove, framed by a long wooden boardwalk leading to covered gazebo with seating, perfect for taking in the never-ending ocean vistas. Snorkelers from the beach often see leopard rays, lobsters, baby barracuda, hogfish, and other varieties of marine life.

Overlooking the beach and ocean, the on-site Cafe features a full bar and light meals. along with a sundries store for any last minute items you may need for your trip.

Overall A-, excellent location with a great price!

We really enjoyed our stay at this unit, it was in a great location with tons of awesome amenities. The place was clean and well sorted, I highly recommend staying here with your family, it is very spacious and comfortable! The only issue we had was a lack of functioning Internet, which we needed to be able to accomplish some things but, I managed to get around using our own hot spot. I definitely would stay here again!

Super pratique et agréable !

Nous avons pu découvrir les keys et revenir au calme profitez de la piscine, la plage! L’appartement est super bien aménagé et offre quelques surprises (raquettes de tennis, jeu de plage, etc.) donnant une touche très familiale et conviviale !

I think I stayed here the wrong time of year

This was my 5th trip to the Keys area and this place is a hard one for me to rate. Property manager Alex was easy to work with and returned messages in a timely manner. The unit 2205 needed some TLC but was clean and what was advertised. The Ocean Point property is clean and maintained in most common areas. The only reason why I do not rate this place higher is not the property manager's fault, it is because it's on the second floor and there are people above you. The floors and walls are paper thin and can hear everything from the occupants above you on the 3rd floor. There was a ridiculous amount of noise that went on every night and even mentioned it to security, but nothing happened. I thought that someone was doing renovations above us but learned that it was just people on vacation like us. The whole property was loud sometimes until 1 and 2am with people yelling. I stay up late and I like to have fun too but screaming and yelling late with so many other guests is just disrespectful. Property needs to have a curfew that after 11pm is quiet time. It is important to know that when I stayed it was spring break and there were a ton of families with several kids here so maybe that is why it was so loud and crazy during my trip. I even drank more than I normally do (well it is vacation) to help me sleep through the noise and was still getting awoke in the middle of the night. Tip: avoid pool and go to their private beach.

Stay in the Keys

Condo was very comfortable, clean, and as described. Elevator was out of service, so that was not ideal to take large suitcases up to the second floor. Balcony barely fits 2 people to sit outside, but we didn't sit out there anyways, so no issue for us! We had a great stay, check in was easy, clean gated community, plenty of parking, and easy to find. Overall loved our stay and would stay again.

The overall resort property was nice with nice amenities- the pool, hot tub, beach, dock were all great. The unit we stayed in had some areas for improvement. The master bedroom shower was broken (stuck on when we tried to use it) and we had to contact the owner to have a plumber come. The plumber was able to get the shower shut off but we weren't able to use it the rest of our stay. Also, the bunkbed in the 2nd bedroom is very wiggly and we didn't feel safe having one of our kids sleep on the top bunk therefore we had to have one of our kids sleep on the couch. There was noticeable scuffs and other things in disrepair on the walls and trim and grime, dirt, and sand in corners of the unit.

Comfortable Condo

We were pleased overall with this condo itself. It had everything we needed and had everything as posted on the website. The kitchen, bathrooms, master bedroom and living room space were beautiful! The bunk beds in the second bedroom would be ok for kids but weren’t the best for two adults and the ladder needs repair. We were disappointed that the bar and restaurant on the property was closed due to a change in owners and would have appreciated knowing that in advance. That was one of the reasons we chose this property. The pool was great and we enjoyed spending time there! We appreciated the restaurant recommendations!

No worry spot in the Keys

Great complex with nice pool, great beach area and plenty of parking! The unit has cute decor with lots of Florida history. Very nice kitchen, excellent lighting throughout and super comfy beds and pillows. There is even a small balcony that looks out over vegetation. By the beach area we saw an osprey nest where we watched an adult taking care of a baby! Everything you need to enjoy your stay in the upper Keys.

DO NOT RECOMMEND

The host was extremely unresponsive. There were many amenities that were broken or damaged when we arrived. When we arrived my five year old used the spare bathroom and it wouldn’t flush. The toilet was broken. When we tried to give the kids a bath in the only bath tub, the water was cold. So we all had to use the one bathroom. The unit is on the second floor which is fine except for the fact that the sliding door didn’t lock which isn’t great when you have young children. Then in the room with the bunk beds the ladder was broken. We tried contacting the host multiple times and got no response for hours. I tried calling and left a vm. Then over an hour later he responded saying he didn’t know why the ladder was broke and he would try and send a plumber out but he doubted they could get out there. When I messaged back about the other things he never responded back. I wouldn’t recommend staying here.

Beautiful Condo, Amazing Pool, Delicious Drinks!

Alex’s property was nothing short of perfect! We had two adult couples and we enjoyed our stay! The condo was plenty big for us with two full bathrooms as well, well equipped with great towels! The beds were very comfortable with nice linens, the spacious updated kitchen with all dishes we needed was great, we enjoyed the cozy little balcony, the beautiful pool and hot tub had a great pool bar 11am-7pm with many choices and frozen drinks too! We also enjoyed the beach and cafe there as well! The property was close to area restaurants and more. It was a great location, we loved our stay, and look forward to next time!

Definitely a great place to stay!

Super cute place and VERY clean!! Conveniently located. The only thing was we didn’t see is that you can only have 2 cars, which we had 3 since we had 6 people. We had to find over night parking elsewhere which was kind of a pain. But other than that we were very happy with the stay.

Great Vacation Destination

Great place to stay!

We had a great time visiting Tavernier! Ocean pointe suites is a beautiful location with a great pool and beach area. Very family friendly. Alex was very responsive and left a very detailed book with some great places to eat and things to do in the area! We did have a few minor stains on the sheets in our master bedroom, which were communicated to Alex and that is why I am rating the property a 4/5. The rest of the condo was clean and a great place to stay! Thanks Alex!

Wonderful property!

We loved our stay at Ocean Pointe! The resort was great and we loved hanging out at the pool and being able to get drinks from the pool bar and yet it was very family friendly. We loved Tavernier and the convenience of the area around it and access to both Key Largo and Islamorada. We found so much to do around the Upper Keys and can’t wait to go back!! Our only issue on the trip was that the dryer in the unit didn’t work, which was inconvenient since I had planned on being able to do laundry when I packed for our family’s trip. I let the owner know and they responded quickly and apologized but did not follow up or provide any resolution. I would understand if it wasn’t possible to fix it, but would have appreciated a follow up.

great pool

We all enjoyed our stay. It was a little more oriented toward boaters but we spent a lot of time in the pool and at the beach. John Pennycamp State park was close and we drove down to the wildlife center in Marathon. The condo had all we needed. Great restaurants nearby, Mrs macs and keys bite
