A winter break in a fishing town

The property proved ideal as a base for a mid-winter break from the Dutch winter. Although very close to the city of Tavira, Santa Luzia offers many facilities (and has many very good restaurants) so that we spent much less time in Tavira than we had first planned. The apartment is large and very well equipped and we were always happy to return if we had been out for the day.

Everything you need in the apartment

Very easy check in. We arrived after 9.00pm but had no problem accessing the apartment. The apartment had everything you needed for a long or short stay. Although perhaps a user manual for using TV air con etc would be useful. We ate out most of our stay as so many lovely restaurants in Santa Luzia and Taveria

Goed appartement ik zou hier opnieuw verblijven.

Mooi gedecoreerd proper en rustig gelegen appartement. Op wandelafstand van restaurants en winkels voor de dagelijkse boodschappen. Zeer volledig ingerichte keuken met voldoende serviesgoed en potten en pannen; ook alle mogelijke toestellen zijn er: mixer, fruitpers etc Op wandelafstand van restaurants en winkels voor de dagelijkse boodschappen. Op enkele stappen sta je in de binnentuin met verwarmd zwembad en er is zelfs een klein binnen zwembad .Er is een ruim overdekt terras met ingebouwde bbq. Door de ligging heb je hier wel nooit zon. Bij warm weer is dat wel een pluspunt en:kan je in de schaduw zitten.

Boas férias em família

No geral correu tudo bem! A única situação que houve foi que a cama de viagem de bebé não tinha colchão, mas o proprietário prontificou-se e comprou um colchão durante a nossa estadia. Toda a comunicação com o proprietário correu sempre muito bem. Recomendo.

Espaço e conforto

Apartamento bem equipado, espaçoso, com sol e fácil acesso à piscina com água a boa temperatura. 10 minutos a pé bastam para apanhar o ferry para a praia. Tranquilo, acolhedor e bem localizado. Recomendo.

Pleasant stay, good facilities and good access. How things to improve something more kitchen utensils. The description on the web talks about parking and unfortunately does not have it. After commenting with the owner told us that the word parking means that there is parking on the street and that you do not have this, although the building does have parking. How to comment, indicate that the application of HomeAway, in the description of this apartment IF speaks of the word parking and once again unfortunately does not have it. The description parking or parking in Spain and in all countries of the European Economic Community, means private parking, you should not use the word as parking description when the vehicle you park on your own in the street. Estancia agradable, buenas instalaciones y buenos accesos. Cómo cosas a mejorar algo más de menaje de cocina. La descripción en la web habla de aparcamiento y lamentablemente no dispone de él. Tras comentarlo con la dueña nos indicó que la palabra aparcamiento significa que existe aparcamiento en la calle y que no dispone de este, a pesar de que el edificio si dispone de parking. Cómo comentario, indicar que la aplicación de HomeAway, en la descripción de este apartamento SI habla de la palabra parking y una vez más lamentablemente no dispone de él. La descripción aparcamiento o parking en España y en todos los países de la Comunidad Económica Europea, significa aparcamiento privado, no se debe utilizar la palabra como descripcion aparcamiento cuando el vehículo lo aparcas por tu cuenta en la calle.

Spacious and well appointed, good location

The apartment was large and very spacious for just 2 people. The kitchen was well equipped. The outside area was disappointing, the outside terrace was small and didn’t get sun either in the morning or evening. We were welcomed by the housekeeper who kindly showed us around the flat despite our late arrival at 1.00 in the morning. Good location, an easy walk to the sea front and a good choice of bars and restaurants.

Estada muito agradável. O apartamento condiz com o anúncio publicado, tem boas condições, nomeadamente ao nível da limpeza, ar condicionado e a cozinha muito bem equipada. A recomendar a outros utilizadores interessados nesta zona, que possui das mais belas prais do Algarve. Para quem não estiver interessado em cozinhar recomenda-se o take away de Tavira "O Tacho", que apenas leva 1,5 € para entregar ao domicílio possuindo uma boa lista diária, sendo as doses muito generosas.

Bien accueilli, appartement fonctionnel

Conforme à l'annonce, l'appartement est bien équipé (machine à laver , lave vaisselle, télé 1 chaîne en français, machine à café ) . appartement spacieux et une terrasse extérieur avec table et des chaises ainsi qu'un vrais barbecue en brique. La piscine est nettoyée régulièrement par le concierge, qui comprends le français . On a été accueilli par une dame très sympa, avec une bouteille de vin de la région et d'un paquet de gâteaux.

Amazon Holiday, Fabulous Apartment

We were visiting Santa Luzia for our friends' wedding. The owner was most helpful and very prompt in responding to my initial enquiry. The apartment was very reasonably priced and looked fabulous so we chose this one over a selection of others. We arrived near midnight but this was5 a problem. The owner had given us details of who to contact on arrival at the airport and someone was there to meet us when we reached the apartment. First impressions were excellent. We were left a bottle of wine, water and a box of chocolates as a welcome gift, which was a lovely gesture. It is a very spacious apartment and is fully equipped with all you could need. The bedrooms are a good size and very comfortable with plenty of wardrobe space. There is plenty of spare bedding in case it is cooler but it was warm enough for what the bed was made up with. The bathrooms had powerful showers and plenty of hot water. There are plenty of towels provided also. Everything was clean and tidy. There was nothing that we needed that was not provided. Outside there is a lovely terrace and BBQ area. The pool is clean and it was not at all busy. The gardens are well tended and we barely saw anyone else let alone heard them, although there were plenty of other apartments occupied. The location is perfect. You can walk to the restaurants and bars in five minutes. Bruno's tapas bar and the cafe and restaurant in the square are all highly recommended. The supermarket is well stocked with everything you need but, as everything us so cheap, you only really need the basics. We will be returning. The apartment was perfect for our needs - a real home from home. Thank you, Miguel, for being so accommodating.

Schöne Wohnung in gemütlicher Atmosphäre

Wir waren 16 Nächte mit 4 Kindern in der gut eingerichteten,sehr sauberen Wohnung. Wir haben schon mehrmals Unterkünfte in Santa Luzia gemietet.(Seid 2003 sind wir regelmäßig hier) Diese Wohnung ist eine der Besten die wir je hatten. Preis/Leistungsverhältnis ist sehr gut. Die Wohnung ist sehr gemütlich mit Blick fürs Detail eingerichtet. Erfahrungsgemäß fehlen mir normalerweise immer einige Dinge im Haushalt. In dieser Wohnung war wirklich alles vorhanden,z.B.Wäscheständer,grosse Pfannen, genügend Geschirr und Besteck, Stabmixer,Tischtücher,Schüsseln,Behälter für Essensreste usw. WLAN hatte bestens funktioniert. Die Kinder nutzten den ca.30 Grad warmen Pool fast täglich. Es war alles sehr sauber und gepflegt! Nicht zu vergessen die bequemen Betten mit Bettdecken und Kopfkissen nach unseren Bedürfnissen. Wir werden nächstes Mal unser eigenes Bettzeug erstmal nach 13 Jahren Zuhause lasse:-) Yvonne, die Consiers ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Auch die Nachbarschaft in der sehr gepflegten Liegenschaft ist sehr lieb und Kinderfreundlich. Wir hatten einige schöne Kontakte mit Portugiesen in der Überbauung. Die Lage der Wohnung ist für uns ideal. Wir spazierten jeden Tag die 3km an den wunderschönen Sandstrand von Barril. Einige schöne zerbrechliche Dinge der Einrichtungsgegenstände haben wir von Anfang an weggeräumt, wegen den Kindern. Mit 6 Personen war der Platz um unsere Dinge zuverstauen etwas eingeschränkt. Wir hatten aber natürlich auch viel zuviel dabei:-) Gerne werden wir die Wohnung wieder mieten. Wir freuen uns schon auf den nächsten Besuch. Vielen Dank und freundliche Grüsse
