Oh my! This was perfect spot for visiting Downtown shops. LOVED the COURTYARD. Room was spacious. Liked the walk-in shower but a grab bar on wall would have been nice. LOVED the COFFEE SHOP next door. Would definitely stay here again.

Very accommodating staff. Wonderful Hotel, we were in town for a wedding and this was a perfect spot to stay. Rooms are very nice, clean, comfortable and well equipped. If we ever in the area again we would definitely stay again.

I loved how quiet it was and how easy the checking in and out process is. The room and the bathroom was nice and spacious definitely worth paying for. I love the sitting area outside as well makes it’s feel like it’s your own front yard. And the cafe was just a few feet away it was perfect!

Customer service was beyond amazing. They responded immediately. We stayed the first night of the winter storm, January 2026. They were very accommodating with early check in/out due to weather. The room was clean, super cute and within 5 minutes of our event. We were traveling with our dog, and the room came with pet bowls. I wish we would have been able to enjoy the court yard. I would highly recommend this place and will stay again.

Bed and pillows were plenty comfy. There's a dehumidifier in the room which helps keep the room temperature comfy in the summer. We'd get coffee in the mornings and sit on the 'front porch' and enjoy the peaceful courtyard. Super cute spot and felt right at home!

The cutest hotel ever. So glad I stumbled upon this place. I had a little hiccup with the keypad on my room (user error). The staff showed up immediately to get it straightened out for me. Will definitely be back.

This place is a gem. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay completely. Very well decorated and clias a whistle. And very well equipped. The keyless entry in and no front desk check in was very convenient. The piped in music was a nice touch. My one and only setback was the shower was extremely slippery. We went and picked up a bath mat and solved the problem. We'll visit again for sure.

Talbot Commons is a very charming enclave located in a quiet area within walking distance of Taylor’s shopping district. Each of the rooms are decorated with a trendy western theme. All the rooms are on ground level arranged around a common area, so it could be ideal for a wedding, group, or small family reunion. For me it was an ideal stopover on a trip across Texas. There is no staff on site, so that should be taken into consideration. I didn’t know how to rate “staff and service” because the hotel is not set up that way. I had absolutely no complaints: my room had everything I needed. A nice, trendy cafe is adjacent to the hotel.

I truly enjoyed my stay at Talbot Commons! The property is charming & the suite was cozy! Great decor & references for local places to eat, etc. I spend time in Taylor every few months as my family live there. I have desperately hoped for an option like the Commons for my stays!
