Nice room in noisy area with mediocre service

We were promised a studio apartment (which usually includes kichenette etc), but got a regular self-contained room. We asked for quiet room, but due to placement along busy thoroughfare you never get rid of traffic noise. We dropped the room with jacuzzi as it is particularly hit by traffic noise. Rooms are nice in modernized rococo style. Tv has no English-language channels, but seem specialized in Turkish-language channels. Service is mediocre.

Good value in Digomi Massif

Overall, a good find which I plan to use in future trips to Tbilisi. Comfortable, nicely appointed rooms. One staff member spoke English, but all were nice. I was disappointed that breakfast was not available, and that high prices were charged for instant coffee. I went to the lobby on the morning of departure to request a late checkout, but there was nobody available with English so I could not do so. When I returned later, the English-speaker refused my request because I had not asked earlier. I had to sit in the lobby for four hours before my train,when the hotel was almost empty. Not appreciated.

Don't expect good treatment here.

We returned to Hotel Agava for another two-night stay. I must now downgrade the good review I gave them on Dec. 4. Once again, the biggest problem was their refusal to honor my request for 3:30pm check-out, despite the fact that the hotel was almost empty. I had requested this at the time of my reservation on Hotels.com, explaining that we had a long wait before our train. This was summarily refused. On neither two-night stay did we receive any housekeeping. Very disappointing. This is a good facility with a front-desk person totally insensitive to the needs of elderly people.

Comfortable hotel on the outskirts of Tbilisi

We were just using the hotel for 1 night in Tbilisi before we embarked on a road trip. For that purpose, the hotel was good. The room was comfortable and cabs could easily access it. If you are looking to explore Tbilisi, you will have to take cabs down to the old town. The room was comfortable and spacious.

First of all, the hotel is located a little far from the city center of tbilisi. You can go here for a fee of 50 lari from the airport. The distance between the city center and the airport is around 25 lari. With the Bolt application from Agava, you can switch to the center for an average of 10 lari. Although it is far from the center, it is on a road with the best places in Tbilisi. I highly recommend Tsiskvili in particular. But the places around it are beautiful. Maybe German Beer House doesn't need to go a little redundant. A very sweet girl welcomes you at the hotel reception and she helps you with everything. You can be sure that you will feel very comfortable. Thank you once again for everything here :)

The most amazing hotel staff ever. Super helpful, friendly and positive attitude all the time. These ladies made our 3 day stay very enjoyable. They would not take a tip. Whatever they are getting paid now should be doubled for all the effort they put in to make guests feel at home. The hotel itself is pretty nice too. Very clean and looks like recently remodeled. Our room looked even nicer than the pictures they have on Expedia. I will definitely recommend this place to all my friends traveling to Tbilisi. გმადლობთ!

Great hotel, great service, great location but...

This is a great little hotel in a bustling area of the city. The staff are amazing. The service we received from the friendly and attentive staff was above and beyond our expectations. The room was clean and comfortable. There is outdoor seating and a very large lobby. We enjoyed our short stay. We would have enjoyed it more had it not been for idiotic and unacceptable 'cash only' policy which was enforced with extreme might! We were asked 4 times for the money in less than 30 minutes and manager had knocked on the door and dragged my partner out of shower demanding cash. This was discourteous. I have given this hotel top score only because of the staff who helped organise a little birthday surprise and were always there to help. Always friendly and smiling. If you are looking for a good hotel, I recommend Agava but remember to take cash.
