One of the best overall hotels I've stayed at in Europe! Get a room with balcony, probably the best views of the whole city! The restaurant on top was my dinner place almost every night; great selection, plus impeccable views of Georgian life!
All are good and location is very nice and the hotel is clean but one thing that there is bad smell when opening the window due to the natural baths that attached to the hotel but if on AC then fine.
You cannot find more convenient location in the Old Town. Easy walk-in distance to all of the Old Town sites. Plenty of restaurants, bars, cafes around as well. The place itself is very nice, the room was spacious, clean, had everything we needed. The balcony was a plus. We also enjoyed dinner/drinks on the top floor restaurant with beautiful views of the old city. Overall, we would stay here again.
Staff unfriendly. I didn't feel welcome!
Also at the restaurant, I ate there for lunch and dinner, I ordered a bottle of wine, the staff didn't bother to refill the glasses until I called them and asked them to refill. The staff were just walking around, and no one came to refill sparkling water glasses or wine glasses until to call them
This was not was I was expecting. My girlfriend and I got an upgraded room, based on the picture the room was very spacious and nice. When we checked into the room we were underwhelmed. It was the smallest room I had been in for a while. The bathroom was also tiny. The view was the only thing that was nice. But we were cramped in like sardines.
Then to add insult to injury, we only had one towel in our room. We had to share a towel. When we complained that we were not assigned to the room that we had agreed to they told us that there were no rooms left and that the particular room we stayed in varied in size. I would’ve hated to see what the room below this looked like.
So we ended up booking in another location through Airbnb which was triple the size and half the price in the same area. When we came back to ask them for our money back for the nights we were not staying there they then all of a sudden had their largest room available for us and they would put us up in it right away. I let them know that we had already found another place as they had told us that they would not be able to accommodate us.
They then said that they would give us a refund, but to contact Expedia as we booked it through them. I called expedia and they reached out to the hotel. It took them almost three weeks for them to reply and in the end the rejected the refund. Do not stay at this hotel. They are not people of their word and the rooms are underwhelming.
Excellent location to all attractions around old Tbilisi city and very secured and safe. The deluxe room with balcony was a bit small for us, but it had very lovely view. The rooftop restaurants of the hotel looks also on romantic view. However, the breakfast cost 20$ for each person is a bit high price, otherwise, you could enjoy all attractions by walking distance from the hotel.
