"We checked into the Sheraton Hotel a few days before we embarked on a cruise sailing out of Rotterdam. The Hotel is "connected" to the Schiphol Airport, and is extremely convenient for travelers who plan to spend time in Amsterdam or make connections to other cities in the Netherlands or European countries. The room was quite spacious and well-appointed, providing a comfortable stay. Staff were friendly and helpful. We'll certainly return to this Hotel if we visit Amsterdam again."

"I thought that staying near the airport would be prudent as I was flying to the states early in the morning- but that wasn’t the case. The shuttle takes a half hour minimum from airport to hotel. It’s a small van that fills quickly. Miss it or if it fills you are in trouble. Amsterdam Airport is a nightmare. Ask 3 officials the same question get 3 different answers. There is no public transportation near the hotel. If you want to go to town to eat dinner you have to go back to the airport to...
