"Excellent location in the Gothic quarters but a street behind La Ramblas, so the nightlife noise was not an issue and couldn’t be heard from inside the room (reasonable size). Close to the Liceu metro station was very handy to access public transport. The room was nicely refurnished- clean and modern. You must first check in at larger sister hotel California, a few minutes walk away as Hamsa hotel does not have an on site front desk to retrieve front door access code for the premise. There is no vehicular access to both these hotels, however, taxis will drop you off along La Ramblas, and a short walk to both hotels. Staff were very responsive and attentive to needs communicating via WhatsApp- worked very well despite no on site front desk. Excellent experience overall- convenience to metro, great location in the Gothic quarters, room was well insulated from nightlife noises, clean and tasteful refurbishment, great responsive hotel staff. Highly recommend this hotel."

"Was a great experience, had a few issues with the standard rooms and the damage to the beds (visual issues) but the onsite team were brilliant and generally the hotel was great and the staff were great aswell. Overall a great experience"

"Room was very clean and bed was comfortable. Cosmological theme was a bit of a stretch but all in fun. Breakfast was superb like many European breakfasts."
