Enjoyable stay.

I have stayed in Rodosto several times over the years. The hotel is of the original type of Turkish hotels. The welcome is always friendly and the rooms large and airy. Damla at reception is very helpful. Nice breakfast. The only downside is that there is no elevator access to most rooms, only a narrow winding staircase. However, it kept me fit going up and down it.

Hotel description includes elevator. Our deluxe suite was on the third floor but the steep spiral staircase was difficult. Even the young staff who came up was puffing heavily. We were offered a similar room in the part of the hotel that does has an elevator. Was assured that there was a walk in shower as well as the spa bath (reason we had not booked the Suite Room in the beginning). Our bags were moved during the day but when we went to the room there were 26 stairs to climb to get to the elevator! Shower was over the spa bath that was quite high to climb in and out of. Bathroom in deluxe suite had persistent nasty smell. Suite room was quieter and very acceptable though only sea glimpse over the front of the hotel building. Manager appeared to understand English but either didn't or chose not to be up front about the shower/spa bath configuration in the Suite Room.

Lokasyonu gayet güzel, merkezi, hemen deniz kenarında küçük bir şehir oteli. Konakladığım oda konak odası gibi klasik bir oda olduğu için oda, banyo biraz küçüktü ama çok da iç daraltıcı bir durumu yoktu. Dekorasyonu sade ve klasikti. Temizlik iyiydi. Kahvaltı kötü diyemem ama vasattı. Genel olarak iş ve kısa seyahat amaçlı şehre gelenler için ideal, iş görür bir otel. Fiyat-kalite olarak bakınca iyi bence.

Oldukça güzel bir tecrübe

Güleryüzle karşılandık, ismini üzülerek hatırlayamadığım hanımefendi bize çok yardımcı oldu. Hazır oda bulunduğundan doğrudan odaya geçebildik. Otelin konumu çok iyiydi, gitmek istediğimiz her yere 5-10 dakikalık bir yolculukla ulaşabildik. Kahvaltı çeşitleri biraz zayıf olmasına karşın, yeterliydi.

I was in Tekirdag for two nights to attend a wedding. As a solo female traveler, I wanted to make sure I stay in a hotel that's in a busy area and is well lit. I'm really glad I chose Rodosto. It's right on the main road, across the street from the marina and harbor walkway. Plus, there are restaurants on either side of it. The breakfast included is decent. After the breakfast is over, I also enjoyed sitting on the terrace just drinking chai and looking out across the street at the water. The room was large and very comfortable. The wifi worked very well. The air conditioner didn't work too well so I didn't use it; I left the windows opened instead. The only downside was mosquitoes coming in at night. Some of the hotel staff didn't speak English very well but it's understandable given that they don't get that many Western tourists in this area. I really liked the accessibility to the marina, cafes, and restaurants. The taxi queue is right outside the hotel which is another convenience.
