"Good value for money. I do feel that basic cleaning products, hand wash, etc, should be provided. Cleanliness not the best. A bit dusty. Drain in shower was blocked. Bad smell. I had to clean the drain which was filthy and full of hair. Informed reception. Very quick to sort it out however as someone came up quickly to take a look. Unfortunately the smell returned within 2 days. So if you concentrate on this in future, I would not fault it. Despite being huge and full of guests, it was also quiet. Great location. Easy access to slope. Good WiFi. We had a great holiday. Thank you."

"I would have preferred an evening menu that you could choose rather than the set menus. Breakfast was excellent. The massage lady I had was superb. The reception was hit and miss. I tried to book the evening meal there but was told to book it at the restaurant however no one was there to take the booking so I had to keep going back. The bar staff were great and the happy hour and afternoon tea was a great touch. No towels at the pool was annoying when the spa people were away you couldn’t get a towel. I think the spa should be free for guests all day it just the morning. Pool table and games is good. Room cleaner kept coming into the room when the do not disturb ticket was on the door. The dryer in the ski boot room didn’t work in the locker. The location and design of the hotel was great. All in all a fabulous holiday. Thank you "

"We spent a week skiing in Alpe d’Huez and had a fantastic stay at Pierre & Vacances Residence L’Ours Blanc. The reception staff were very friendly and welcoming throughout our stay, always helpful and pleasant.The location is excellent, right in the centre and just a short walk from restaurants, shops, and activities such as the swimming pool and the ice skating rink. The apartment was very well equipped. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed to prepare meals, and it was great to have both a filter coffee machine and an espresso machine available. The living room was comfortable with a TV and a nice area to relax after a day of skiing. The residence also has self-service laundry facilities, which was very convenient during our stay. Overall, it was a very comfortable and practical place to stay and it really added to our experience in Alpe d’Huez. We would happily stay here again and would definitely recommend it."

"We konden het appartement pas in om 18.30 toen we aankwamen. Omdat er ivm sneeuwruimen heel veel file stond bleken de schoonmakers pas laat te zijn begonnen. Het vervelendste was echter dat we gewoon niet op de hoogte werden gehouden, ondanks dat we regelmatig contact zochten zodat we gewoon niet wisten waar we aan toe waren. Uiteindelijk toen het “schoon” was bleek het alsnog gewoon vies, broodkruimels lagen nog gewoon op de grond. Het appartement is wel ruim, en ligt boven winkeltjes en eettentjes. Maar als je gaat skiën moet je met de bus (die op papier een schema heeft maar gewoon doet wat hij wil. Komt regelmatig gewoon niet), of lopen naar een cabine die je naar de pistes brengt. Hierdoor ben je ruim 30 minuten kwijt om van en naar de pistes te komen. Verder is het appartement goed uitgerust met oa magnetron, losse oven etc. Helaas is er alleen geen wifi, wat eigenlijk niet meer van deze tijd is."

"Lovely apartment with everything we needed. Very responsive host and lady on site to provide keys and assistance. Apartment clean and beds made on arrival which was lovely. Short walk to Grande Sur lift or "lobster pot" lift to get to skiing every day."

"Fantastic hotel, with perfect access to the slopes. Only criticism is that the no phone rule is not enforced in the spa, spoiling the environment. "
