"Kay is a wonderful host. She was very responsive before, during and after our trip. The house was lovely, very clean and large enough for large family gatherings. She even put up a Christmas tree for us. We came for Christmas and had a wonderful time even though our family members had to cancel due to illness. The area is beautiful and Kay is very knowledgeable of the area and the best places to visit and eat! I would definitely recommend this lovely home and host for your family vacation. "Scott met us at 1 on day of our arrival and he explained everything to us regarding the keys tv, heating and hot water. There was milk bread butter and also a welcome pack left with lots of ‘goodies’ which was a really nice gesture and much appreciated. The apartment is on first floor and easily accessible by lift for my husband who is disabled. It is also next door to the supermarket ,which has everything you require, and right opposite the beautiful marina . It is only a short walk into town and also ample parking . We would recommend this apartment to anyone visiting Kilrush and our hosts were excellent and always replied promptly to messages . "
