"Recently stayed here a few days while visiting family. The good: staff is super-friendly and helpful. The restaurants downstairs are both outstanding, It's nice and modern, has that boutique feel. Great location, walking distance to Byward Market.
The bad: room cleaning was spotty. Left $10 for the maid one of the days and the room was hardly cleaned. Room snacks are just some nuts and pringles. I know, those are overpriced anyways. But I ate them the first night and they never refilled it. TV doesn't have streaming/apps, that should be standard in any hotel these days, especially a more upscale one.
To me, the staff and service can make or break the experience, and ultimately it's why I would choose to stay there again."
