Loved the relaxing atmosphere of a small town on the mountain. Definitely will be back one day!

The rooms were very clean, but restraunt/lounge was closed due to no staff and that was one of the reasons we chose this hotel because there is nothing close to go eat and have a drink, so we chose this hotel BUT it was not open and no where on the web site it said it was closed, and was not told ...

The Woodland Spa and its staff were wonderful as was the doorman for Falling Rock.

I never post negative reviews but this experience was awful. The room was dirty and had a lingering musty smell. The lights did not work upon entering. The room had dirt throughout. House was clean and ready for us to stay. The hot tub was warmed up already. They had a little birthday message for my daughter and a balloon. Very cute.

I had a pleasant stay for four nights in Owl's Nest. I was up in the area to ski at Wisp. The "back way" to and from the resort made the drive only about 10 minutes or so. The cabin is stocked with everything that one could possibly need. The hot tub was great!

The host was very accommodating and responsive. Everything we needed was available in the cabin. Would visit again, thanks!

Explore the great outdoors at Cranesville Swamp Natural Area, a lovely green space in Terra Alta. Amble around this family-friendly area's riverfront, or seek out the ski slopes.

Terra Alta, the town, is just a small back roads kind of country town. Seems like a quiet, fairly run down town. But, everyone was kind.
