"Very nice hotel. Very clean and well-maintained. Our room was spacious and well appointed. Management and employees were friendly and engaging. The pool area was nice and could accommodate several different families at the same time. The breakfast was slightly underwhelming. If you are expecting a Der Dutchman style breakfast prepare to be disappointed. The breakfast had a few Amish-style baked goods (doughnuts, apple fritters, cinnamon rolls) but other than that I would compare it to a Holiday Inn Express or Fairfield Inn. They served biscuits both days we were there but no gravy which was a real disappointment. I tasted the eggs one morning and they were very good, not dry and rubbery like some hotels."

"The rooms were very clean and the AC kept it cool. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Our room location was very quiet and peaceful at night. Once you shut the doors, you couldn't hear the noise from the bar at all. My only reason for giving 4 Stars instead of 5 is that the property was doing major renovations in the courtyard so it was closed off and I had no idea ahead of time of this. One of the reasons this hotel was picked was due to the outside hammocks and seating and we could not utilize it. Was not made aware ahead of time, yet we were still charged full price for property. But other than that, it is an excellent hotel. Location was perfect as well."

"We always enjoy our stay at Compass Sound. Friendly professional staff on arrival. Always clean throughout. Breakfast is good. Plenty of choice. Evening food menu reasonable and tasty. Full bar. Staff are always accommodating and smile. Great pool area We’ll be back."

"The resort was very nice,we had a villa and it was wonderful, the beach was beautiful, the only downside was some of the restaurants where overpriced, for example...a kids cheeseburger and fries $20 that's a bit much . Overall it was a nice vacation."
