Top Terre del Reno Hotel Reviews
Royal Hotel Carlton
10/10 Excellent
"Very close to the railway station, giving access to a large part of Italy including Venice, Verona and Modena. The hotel itself was very clean and well kept. Staff were very polite and helpful. Rooms are good, with the largest bed I've ever slept in (probably 10ft wide), and are impeccably cleaned every day. Bologna itself is a fanatic city to stay in if you want to experience the real Italy. In August, it seemed fairly quiet during the day, but coming alive in the late evening. Absolutely tons of thing to see and amazing places to eat which I thought were reasonably priced. Also, make sure you try the coffee shop just next to the hotel where you can get two coffees and a croissant for €4. The city itself has some wonderful sights, but also you can expect to see a bit of graffiti - not that It matters. We always felt safe and no real evidence of crime when walking out and about even late at night."
Hotel Internazionale
10/10 Excellent
"This place is an experience in itself. Wonderful decor, friendly staff, excellent breakfast. The location is very convenient to discover Bologna and get around to the airport or train station."
The Social Hub Bologna
8/10 Good
"I enjoyed staying here not too far away from the town and easy walk really good facilities. I was there. It was very hot so the pool was just what I needed."
I Portici Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"We loved this hotel. Everything was clean and in good order. The staff was gracious and professional."
Art Hotel Commercianti
10/10 Excellent
"The location is about as central as you can get in Bologna, right in the heart of the historic centre. Most of the essential sights are just a short walk away, and there are plenty of excellent restaurants nearby too. It’s an ideal base for exploring the city on foot."
Ostello Bello Bologna
10/10 Excellent
"I don't think I've had a more helpful Host than Teresa. Thebptoperty I'd in an unloved street but so central it doesn't matter. There are a lit of stairs so if that's not your thing be careful. But the flat was super clean, quirky and helpful was on hand if needed. I'm not sure I'll be in Modena again but if I am I'll stay with this helpful host."
Hotel Bologna Airport
8/10 Good
"It is really clean and lovely hotel with helpful staff. However, the reason we stayed there was for a shuttle to the airport but when we checked in we were told that the shuttles were full. I appreciate this but in the morning we saw one shuttle coming but another was just parked. If it is a touristy time, it may be worth rethinking another driver during busier periods. Also, the food was inconsistent. The lasagna had in the bar hadn't been defrosted enough or microwaved long enough. The food in the restaurant was a mix. Prices were such that the food should be consistently good. Just a suggestion but you have the Ducati museum right next to you. It may be worth working a deal with them and shuttle transportation there as I think it is a big attraction. Overall, the hotel is nice and clean with friendly staff."
Hotel Palace Bologna Centro
8/10 Good
"Very quirky suite with lovely paintings adorning the walls. Floors were a bit creaky in that you could hear people upstairs, but, you get used to it. Ideal location as only a 5 minute stroll from the Piazza Majiore and all the adjacent bars and restaurants."
Grand Hotel Majestic già Baglioni
10/10 Excellent
"Everything and everyone there was amazing. The ONLY thing I would suggest is that they pony up for some soft sheets and pillowcases. Shockingly stiff and uncomfortable. We resorted to wrapping our pillow with a t-shirt."
