"Decent hotel but not a lot of restaurants nearby and only a snack type restaurant in the hotel. Rooms were small but clean. Was a bit of a walk to anything fun or shopping."

"The hotel is about 17 minutes away from Hamburg central station. It is a good location and a safe one. It is walkable. Bus # 12 runs right in front of the hotel. There is a train within 4 minutes walk, but I can’t remember its number. It has some food places within walking distance. It was, however, difficult to find anything open before 6 pm. Sunday many places are closed. We walked to central station daily because of our plans to see sites required using public transportation. Therefore, we bought food near central station. Plenty of Resturants and stores to buy fruits, etc. The hotel staff are nice and responsive, we want to specifically thank Micaela for taking care of our many questions and responding to our needs for a quiet room, etc. She was very helpful, polite and welcoming. The room is spacious with siting area( desk and lounge chair). One small open space that they considered closet, but it is really not enough. We made it work. The room has air conditioning, refrigerator, coffee & tea maker. They provide water, coffee, tea, cream & sugar. No safe which we paid extra for premier plus room so that we can have all the above plus a safe. The one thing I am hoping for is that they will pull the rug out of the rooms and replace with wood floors. We would definitely stay at this hotel again."

"The hotel is only a 10 to 15 minute walk from the train station. The Hotel was very clean and tidy the staff were very friendly and helpful and the breakfast is well worth the extra money!"

"We were booked in for two nights so on arrival asked if there was parking and were told that all the spaces were full and we would have to use another car park 300 metres away. The next morning I enquired if any spaces had come free and was told there was so went and paid for the other car park and moved to the hotel’s underground parking. We found the staff on reception to be a lot more friendly the second day than the ones on the first day. We had a meal in the restaurant both evenings. Again with mixed interaction with the staff. The first evening the waitress was very friendly and helpful whereas the waiter was not the second evening. The food on the other hand was very nice. Hamburg is a large city and so only a small area can be covered on foot but there is plenty of public transport available."

"PROs: If you’re looking for a deal - this is a good option. Short walk to Hamburg Hbf, grocery store, and pizza joint just next door. We got a dedicated room with private bathroom, and it was good for our family with young kids. CONs: you get your own sheets/towels and make your own beds. Besides small sanitary trash cans in the bathroom - all trash receptacles are in common areas. At check out time there was no one at front desk. It was worked out with cleaning staff and this could be an isolated incident… but also maybe not."
