"This is a lovely holiday cottage. Entrance door is low so maybe a problem for someone tall. My husband is 6'2" and he knocked his head a couple of times despite the warning sign 'Mind your head'. Cutlery was a bit sparse. I think the previous occupiers might have 'lost' some. Also, no cafetière, but a lovely tea pot. The owners were very accommodating and lovely to talk to. I'm sure they will rectify these little issues. Overall, it is a cosy cottage. We stayed just with 2 adults and 2 dogs. If we had 2 more guests, it sure would have been a little more cramped but just for us is was lovely. Very dog friendly. Surrounded by neighbouring farms. The only issue there was that these farmers did not look after the public pathways crossing their properties and access was blocked at 3 points! Obviously, this is not the cottage owners fault but it was a bit upsetting not to be able to use the public pathways."

"Lovely cottage, clean and well equipped with everything we needed for our short break.The owners were helpful and on hand if needed but otherwise discreet and gave us the space to enjoy our holiday to the full. We visited Blandford Forum, Sherbourne, Shaftesbury and Compton Abbas airfield, all within easy reach of The Old Pump house by car."
