"A great find for a family get together. The cottage was well positioned for exploring the area. It had everything you would need, and more. We visited the sea life centre and a booked the spa at the Lodge on Loch Lomond. A beautiful area and so peaceful . I’m not sure why the hot tub water needs checking every day as we had to get out of it one morning to allow for the testing having only just got in !"

"Staff are brilliant here. Tam the chef makes tasty meals ,can recommend the carvery for an evening meal and the pancakes at breakfast were yummy. Natasha served breakfast, she's a breath of fresh air, happy and cheerful in the morning, but all the staff are great. The tables could do with a bit of TLC it brings the overall look down a bit. Bedrooms are clean and comfy beds , tea ,coffee ,milk "

Upon arrival they were asked to add on breakfast(which was already included) I called the hotel and receptionist said the manager would call me back, this was 3 weeks ago. Still no contact and off putting as it’s not a cheap hotel. "

"Much as the location and the stunning views are all plus points of the property, I felt some basics could be much better. Instructions of various living do's and dont's, within the property were not available, particularly, with regards to operation of heating controls. important during winter stays.The quality of bedding in both bedrooms was very poor and the 'double bed' in the second bedroom was awful!! it was disappointing the nice 'looking' fire place in the lounge was only a decorative item. Doesn't even light up. This turned a potentially, snug and nice lounge area in a cold winters evening, into a cold and depressing one. Cooking utensils such as pots and pans could be improved."
