Despite that it is an old building, it is tidy and well-maintained. The room(old-style) was clean and tidy. The food was okay.
It was quiet at night as the room was facing the cathedral.
The surrounding area is nice and has a variety of shops, restaurants and pubs."
"A fantastic stay. Rooms just perfect. Lovely touch with the coffee machine and the fridge in the pantry with fresh milk and additional bottled water. Breakfast was excellent and far far beyond anything that you would expect at a pub type of stay. Location was quiet and a great base to explore Kent and the coastline. Staff were lovely and nothing was too much trouble. Full marks for the Duke William’👏👏 "
"I love this hotel, I stay 2-3 nights each week and the staff all know me and are super helpful and professional. In a 5 star hotel, it’s the service that sets the hotel apart and that’s so true here.

"We had an absolutely amazing stay here at the Pilgrim hotel! Canterbuty itself is a must-see town if you are visiting in England and I would highly recommend this boutique hotel. It was charming and clean. Staff were nice and available when needed. Continental breakfast was very good! More options than most. I would absolutely stay here again and hope to be back. :)"

"We stayed on a Sunday evening so probably less busy than many days. Plenty of parking which was free if you registered at the hotel for 24 hours from arrival so we had time to visit the cathedral on the morning of our departure. Staff were welcoming and we were pleasantly surprised to be upgraded to a modernised suite. King sized bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was sufficient with a fair degree of choice but would have been great if coffee machine available for more choice than just filter...
"Lovely hotel, not huge so personal feel. Absolutely spotless. Staff friendly and lovely pool. Very relaxing break.
Worth noting there is no lift so had to use stairs. Not an issue for us but worth knowing if you do struggle with stairs so you can ask for an accessible room. Will stay there again."
