I stayed at The Modernist in Thessaloniki and couldn’t have been happier with my experience. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, making me feel welcome from the moment I arrived. The hotel itself is spotless and beautifully designed, with so much attention to detail. The breakfast was absolutely excellent—one of the best I’ve had at a hotel—and the location is perfect for exploring the city. When I return to Greece, I definitely plan to stay here again. Highly recommend The Modernist to anyone looking for a beautiful hotel with wonderful people in the perfect spot!

Gem in the heart of Thessaloniki

We loved this place. Staff were incredibly responsive. Room had a unique but very functional and comfortable design. It was very quiet, but in the midst of the city—a perfect combination for us. The breakfast buffet, served in the rooftop terrace, was just phenomenal. We would love to stay here again.

Very comfortable room, nice mattress, good lighting. Excellent shower. Staff was so helpful and friendly. Breakfast was a highlight each morning, with a wide range of fresh, homemade choices and cooked to order eggs. I left early for the airport my last morning, and they had an amazing to-go breakfast for me at the desk. Would definitely stay again.
