"The room was comfortable however, our room was not ready for check-in at 3 PM and we were not able to get into our room until close to 7 PM. The staff did not keep us updated and told us they had no idea when our room would be ready. The property itself feels dated and has a dirty feeling to it. The staff were not overly friendly or entirely helpful when it came to check in or finding our rooms or getting dinner. We will likely not stay again at the resort as a result of our experience."

"We enjoyed our time at the White Oak cabin! It was very peaceful and partially secluded. The grandsons enjoyed the private dock! We all loved the hot tub! The house was clean, but the area around the hot tub needed swept up and cleaned. The deck also had a lot of debris on it. This is expected since it is nestled in a wooded area. So it was not a problem! There are three levels so my legs got a work out on the stairs. The grandchildren had no issue with it! But my old dog and myself tried staying on one floor as much as possible! It was so nice to be able to bring him along! We did not need to use the heat or air conditioners. There are several fans available that we did use. It doesn't have central air. There are a couple window air conditioners in the upstairs closets. The host was responsive and gave us privacy during our stay. Overall, we enjoyed our stay at White Oak!"

"My wife and I have a two year-old boy and a four year-old boy and they absolutely loved the house. The indoor pool is amazing because half of our vacation it rained so it’s a great amenity to have the option to still be able to do stuff while you’re unable to go outside. In fact when we rented a boat and went out on the lake, all they wanted to do was go back to the house and play in the pool. It’s an amazing property that I would recommend to anyone."

"The property was very accommodating for all our guest! We loved all the amenities, especially the indoor pool and fire pit! Even the overall property the home was on was gorgeous. The well paved roads and quiet neighborhood, was perfect for our afternoon stroller walks to get the toddlers down for nap. Absolutely a family friendly place to stay!"

"The house was clean and the view of the lake was awesome. The main problem with the house was the various step ups that there were. These were not marked with a white or yellow warning tape so the first time we walked in my husband and I tripped on them. We found them quite annoying, especially my husband, who kept forgetting they were there and tripped many times. He called the house a death trap. I fared better, but those step ups were awful.There was also some type of odor when walking into the kitchen downstairs.I was glad we got to take our dog. I alerted the owner about my dog being over the size limit and he let me know that I could bring him."

"This was the perfect trip for the family! The hosts communication was excellent. She was extremely helpful. Check in was a breeze. The cabin was clean and fully stocked. We had a great time in the game room and had a hard time getting out of the hot tub. 10/10, would def stay again!"
