"Did not receive the room type that was in the reservation. When I went back to the front desk I was told there was nothing they could do except leave a note for a manager. Nothing was communicated to me about this at checkout either. "

"This is lovely place. We loved the great lake views, easy access to the water, the covered porch facing the lake. The inside was nice and the kitchen was well-stocked with pots, pans, dishes, utensils, etc. Furniture and beds were comfortable enough. Hot tub was enjoyed several times. No issues with the check-in process.A few things kept us from giving 5 stars:- The place was a little more care-worn than it appears in the photos.- The heaters on the main level are quite noisy. If we had needed them more, it would have been quite annoying.- The house has no A/C, which was not a problem for our stay, but could have been in the heat of summer.- If you plan to cook and like good knives, you should bring some. The ones provided were only fair."

"House and location were beautiful. The cookware needs to be updated, all pots and pans have excessive wear and tear. The non stick coating is all scratched off. The landscaping needs to be addressed. Too many weeds coming up through the patio pavers, unacceptable for the price of this rental. The last renters left hundreds of sun flower seed shells all over the patio. The patio should have been swept or hosed off before we arrived. The kitchen faucet needs to be replaced and doors to laundry room need to be repaired."

"The property is good, the house is old, but with some important elements updated (kitchen, 2 of 3 bathrooms, paint, hot water heater, hot tub). However, there are just too many other things of poor quality that one would not expect to find at this (1000 per night with all the miscellaneous fees and charges) price point. Things that are easy to clean were clean but anything beyond easy was not clean. Central A/C filter very dirty, air intakes dirty, microwave oven light out, sink lights out. Too many non-working lights. Stairs to the unfinished basement so dimily lit they're boderline unsafe. Lack of adequate light in the basement (gameroom) is unacceptable. Ping pong table net is broken at won't stay on. All pool sticks are missing the felt ends rendering the pool table useless. Dog poop in the backyard. Not a towel rack in any bathroom. I would likely stay here again but only as a last resort. It's hard for me to imagine the homeowner knows the management company is allowing the house to remain in such a state of decay. "
