We had an excellent stay. The property was very clean and well appointed. The beds were super comfortable which was great after long days out on the water. The host was very kind. I would definitely stay there again and plan to do so.
Cute property...well done interior...perfect for a small family or 2 couples. We enjoyed sitting on the flat stone shore in our beach chairs as the waves washed by...very relaxing watching the wildlife.
We had an amazing time at Vivian’s cottage! Our kids loved playing in the shallow water and yard, the cottage was extremely clean and had all the amenities we needed to make our stay comfortable. We really enjoyed meeting Vivian- she was very friendly, accommodating and made our stay even better! Would love to stay here again!
Clean cozy and peaceful, very private beach access and view sounded like we were on the ocean Amazing amenities ...comfortable beds and bedding with kitchen and seating appliances and all the supplies owner thought of everything. The place was spotless - highly recommend !
We enjoyed our stay immensely. Beautiful place for much needed R&R. Wildlife, quiet beautiful bay water, kayaking and seashells, yes seashells! Vivian is wonderful! Very accommodating , friendly and informative. Loved it!
It was very clean and comfortable but there was no Living room. We missed comfortable indoor seating after long days walking and enjoying the Thousand Islands area.
Quiet property on Lake Ontario. Only sound we heard was the water lapping along the shore. Very peaceful, clean and looked like what we saw in photos online.
Perfectly what was advertised and what I expected. Hostess was wonderful and very accommodating. Amenities outstanding. Peaceful and relaxing. Would definitely stay there again!
Spectacular views of lake Ontario off the front deck. Wonderful views of a lush yard and garden off the back deck. Private and clean, with access to kayaks and boogie boards for water fun.
Lovely second stay. Vivian is an excellent hostess. Grounds are lovely as well as the cottage. Panda the dog is a great, friendly greeter. Enjoy the peacefulness

What a perfect little gem of a cottage. Beautiful view out the bedroom doors, quiet and peaceful. Cottage was clean, beds were comfy. Would stay there again. Only wish there was a couch or some place to sit when you don’t want to lay down… other than that. Just right!
This was a beautiful get-away with a lovely private beach. The apartment was super clean with peaceful colors & art. Vivian made our stay very comfortable; gave us solid recommendations for local eats. She chatted with us (at our invitation), and we had plenty of privacy too. The Cottage Bakery near by was a treat. Highly recommend!
The property was clean and comfortable, with a lovely view of the lake. Vivian could not have been more welcoming or helpful. We loved the tour of her gardens. Sitting by the fire pit and watching the sun set over the lake was magical.
This is an amazing place to stay for a family of 4. The host takes an enormous amount of pride in her rental. She is easy going, very friendly, and accommodating. The host also provided kayak lessons as we never had kayaked before. The view is spectacular!!!! Its very clean and modern. We will definitely be staying here again!!!!!
Three of us girls wanted a quite few days at the beach, this place was perfect. Location was secluded on the beach, with cayakas, a fire pit and for our stay the full moon. Beds are super comfortable, kitchen had what we needed for preparing a few snacks. The town of Clayton and A bay are a short drive away, with great restaurants. We enjoyed a great breakfast at Jacks diner on the main drag also. Vivian is an outstanding host. Re ommed this property for a quite beach get away.
A lovely guest house right on the bay. Everything was clean and pleasant. Host is kind and easy-going. Comfortable beds and bedding. Host provided kayaks which we did not use. Water access is a little challenging. Overall a very nice place to stay. Highly recommend Jack's Diner and Cottage Bakery nearby. The pizza (peetza) place in town sells the best homemade bread!
Very clean apartment! The host was very responsive to two requests and very pleasant. The property's beach access is steps from the door. But, "One mile long, sandy beach, located on State land, next to property"; there isn't an accessible mile long beach next to the property. The state land is overgrown. The property's beach is crushed shells, not sandy; footwear is necessary. That being said, the place is very clean inside and nicely furnished.
My wife and I, as well as our 2 friends, really enjoyed our stay. The rental was perfect for us. Privately situated, but centrally located so as to be non-touristy, it came with 2 spacious bedrooms on either side of a central kitchen and bath. Each bedroom had its own deck, with stairs to enter and leave as one wished. The decor was very nice, and our host provided most anything one could think of -- linens, cookware, coffee, tea, drinks, etc.
The rental is a stone's throw from the water's edge. All evening, we enjoyed the sound of the waves and wind in the trees. Our host also had a variety of kayaks, canoes, and paddle boards for our use. Plus, she also set us up with recommendations for some really good dinners. All-in-all, I'd highly recommend this to anyone looking to get away to the Thousand Islands area.
This is our 4th or 5th year in a row staying @ Vivian's for our end of summer vaca. That should say enough! Everything is provided. Kayaks, paddle boards, life jackets beach towels & blanket, ect... Fire pit by the shore. A bit of fire wood provided. If you're looking for extra wood; there's a stand next to Long Point State Park on the peninsula. Filled my van for $20 there. Shangri La on the peninsula is open and has some great food/drink and only a 3 min drive. Close to Cape Vincent for breakfast/lunch/dinner & groceries. We will be back every year. Until she wants to sell it to me. Hah. Thank you Vivian.
