"This hotel has an endless supply of pools. Haha The rooms are very spacious and comfortable, the food and breakfast is sufficient and has good variety. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the location is suoer convenient. Plenty of restaurants near by too to choose from . Will be back!"

"We loved our stay here. The Coco Chalet was huge and in a lovely poolside location. Food was delicious & reasonably priced. Would definitely stay again but would rent a car or motorbike next time as the location is a little isolated (no complaints about this on our part). Definitely recommend if you’re looking for a completely relaxing place on the beach"

"We really loved our stay at The Sands. The staff were fabulous, the hotel was immaculate and it was all really well thought-out with everything you could need in one place. We would definitely come back to The Sands. The only area that could possibly be improved was the breakfast. Sometimes food - particularly fruit and yoghurt was left uncovered, which attracted flies and put me off eating there."

"The Leaf on The Sands by Katathani is an affordable 4-star resort in the heart of Khao Lak, surrounded by beautiful tropical gardens and greenery. It has a peaceful, low-rise layout that gives the property a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere. One of my favorite features was the two swimming pools and the swim-up bar. It is a great place to spend the afternoon, relax in the water, and enjoy a drink without having to leave the pool. The breakfast was excellent, with a good selection of food and plenty of choices to start the day. It was one of the highlights of my stay. The staff were very pleasant, friendly, and helpful. Their welcoming attitude added to the overall experience and made the resort feel comfortable and inviting. The resort is also conveniently located for exploring Khao Lak and is only a short distance from Nang Thong Beach. The tropical gardens, pools, good breakfast, and friendly staff make it a very enjoyable place to stay. What Future Travelers Should Know If you are looking for a resort that offers a peaceful tropical setting, excellent breakfast, friendly staff, and a great pool with a swim-up bar, The Leaf on The Sands by Katathani is worth considering. I would happily stay here again and recommend it to other travelers visiting Khao Lak."

"This hotel is very good. Clean rooms, Beautiful breakfast. Private pool access (I had the room with pool access). The main pool, which is near the sea, is big and convenient. The beach is wonderful. The sea was a bit wavy, but I think when there is no wind, it has to be amazing!. The personnel are very polite. Everybody says "Hello" and sends a beautiful smile. Wonderful place for a quiet vacation."

"The hotel very good location beautiful front of the beach. The hotel room very clean and modern they are clean the rooms every day and they are gives a water unlimited every day. The staff are so friendly polite and very helpful for everything you want.Also the fitness are 24 hours they are have enough of equipment for gym areas.They are amazing breakfast every staffs at the restaurant are so helpful and polite friendly excellent service. Exceptional hotel."

"We absolutely loved our stay at Merlin - in fact we are still here as we extended our stay with the hotel because we decided we didn’t need to go anywhere else for a truly magical and relaxing stay. We feel immersed in nature - surrounded by incredibly beautiful trees and we saw a slow loris during our night tour! The pools are so lush with vegetation all around them - we spent hours just milling around in what felt like a jungle pool, complete with waterfalls! The staff are all so lovely and super attentive, but with the most relaxed and easy going manner. I found myself quite envious of the people who work here - they honestly seem to be very happy in their work and well looked after. We didn’t go all inclusive and slightly regret that, as it wasn’t a lot more on top and means that, even if you only eat here half the time, it will probably be worth it. We are already trying to figure out when we can come back! Thank you so much everyone at Merlin - we will see you again as soon as possible! 😊"
