Hotel Las Costas

"Had a brilliant stay. Room and bathroom was clean and spacious. Comfortable beds pillows soft. Got upgraded to a room with side sea view and that made the difference to have a view - not all rooms do. Kettle, steamer (on request), shower gel/body lotion in bathroom - lacking tea variety in the rooms and we asked for fresh milk. Half board was good value, varied and great quality. Staff were knowledgable and welcoming. Spa was small but lovely a thermal pool with jets, sauna and steam room reserve a 1hr slot. Location of the hotel is just 15mins from airport on local bus €1.40 and 10min walk to start of the shops leading to Puerto del carmen strip, small supermarket across the road or Spar 5 min walk on. Mid July was windy good to keep temperature down but Los pocillos beach was not great sand kept blowing into the face. Bring pegs to hold your towels down. Playa chica and grande were just a €5 taxi and much calmer to swim in. Nice big shower room if you arrive before check in or have a late flight. Anything you ask for they will help you with. I felt really comfortable and would come again without hesitation."

"Great hotel, pools were good and never not too busy to not have a bed. Bars busy but never felt overly busy given the size of the hotel. Only downside was the food, was similar every night and was ok/average. Better food options available close to the hotel."

"Room was very clean, excellent breakfast selection. I was disappointed that there were large renovations going on and some areas were not accessible. It was difficult to find my room, reception staff didn’t explain clearly and I ended up walking around with my heavy luggage looking for my room for a long time. Pool area nice but very noisy with loud music and kids pool instructor shouting loudly most days while swimming with kids. I had to leave the pool area and enjoy the sun on my balcony instead as I’m someone who likes peaceful and quiet environment. Other than that I was happy with the hotel."

"Have a great long weekend in May, good location not far from beach. Local supermarket 3mins from apartment with larger Spar being 10mins walk away (great Italian next to Spar -Sorrento di Italia). Lovely balcony overlooking pool with 2 sun loungers, table & 4 chairs although bit tight on space if using all furniture! Also have sofa, nice lounge chair & kitchen table & 4 chairs so plenty of seating options inside. Required to book sun loungers by pool with lifeguard in advance but system seemed to work. Live singers at apartment bar in evening. "
