"I had made the booking for two rooms for a business trip, unfortunately plans changed due to a family bereavement, the app would not allow me to change the booking dates, I contacted the Hotels.Com contact centre and explained the situation, they attempted to call the property as the revised dates I required were available. The hotel front desk did not answer and the contact centre advised they will ensure the date will be changed for both rooms, I received an email confirming the change was made after they made contact with the hotel front desk two days later. I then kept receiving emails asking how my check in was on the original dates which I asked to be changed, worried I called the contact centre again, they reconfirmed the dates were amended for both rooms. Upon arriving to the property, the hotel advised they only made a change to one of the booking dates and classified the second booking as a "No Show" for the original dates. I had to waste another hour explaining the situation, providing email confirmations and evidence. This was not acceptable as it took one hour to attempt checking in with both rooms which were already prepaid. I was advised by the duty manager to take the matter up with Hotels.Com - very poor experience..."

"This hotel is incredible! The location was ideal and the staff were all incredibly helpful going above and beyond. Typically during a stay you will find one good person, if you are lucky, but here each person made our stay better in a unique way. The hot free breakfast was also phenomenal! We can’t say enough about this hotel and staff!"

"Room was clean, location is excellent, convenient to must see places and to restaurants. Neighborhood is very quiet, safe and the people in the neighborhood are polite. Has two neighborhood grocery stores. There’s no noise in the building or outside. Easy check in and out. Some suggestions and observations: It would be nice if you can provide knives for cutting fruits, coffee maker not working, hot water kettle is working but leaky. Need to check appliances for the next tenant. Overall our stay was excellent and I would highly recommend this place to stay in Braga. We would definitely stay there again. "

"Kids loved the bath tub and two floor suite that we booked. Location was ok and we didn’t try their breakfast. Overall good but the only thing that was a bit uncomfortable was that the Parking overnight was too far with incomplete instructions for the customers traveling from outside Portugal. "

"I had been in the B&B, and cabin rental business for a time a while back, and have to say this hostess and her property blew me away! Where to begin? … Maria met us to deliver the keys, and reveal some goodies. The kitchen table was set, and loaded with local baked goods; the refrigerator contained juice, yogurt, ham, cheese, and a bottle of wine among other things. The front porch, as well as the back terrace were wonderful on the warm days. We took a few meals out back, and often chilled out on the front porch in the evening. The house was spotless throughout. The beds were comfortable and cozy. Linens for the beds and baths were top notch.We were traveling with a 12 year old. We found a community football field right down the street and grandson was able to get in some fun face time with local children willing to kick around the ball some.The location of Maria’s house is conveniently situated close to in town and local markets.All in all we highly recommend this rental, and its hosts without any doubts.
