Great location
The apartment itself is 5/5. One can see the owners made a nice spot for themselves and the accommodation feels cosy. Sweeping views of the lake and the glacier upon entering the property are impressive. We deducted one star for the management company however. We paid about EUR2.4k for a week and in this price you get 1 towel per person, 1 toilet roll, bedsheets are not even fitted on the duvets. There is nothing in terms of any kitchen items like salt, dishwasher tablets etc. Finally, the kitchen is only as clean as the previous tenants leave it because cleaning is not included in the price either -and we were unlucky that previous owners left it dirty.. Basically everything is kept to a bare minimum and I do not think the costs can be cut any further. In addition, the approach from the agency regarding check-in has not been very flexible in our view - even though we arrived the day after the check-in day, we were not able to get any access code to the building or keys, and these had to be handed over by someone in the office (even though the apartment had key lock on the doors)! This bureaucracy and lack of flexibility may be cultural too, so if you are local maybe it won't bother you.All in all, we would love to own a place like this, but not sure I would recommend dealing with this local agent (they do speak English though and are responsive to emails on the positive side). We just didn't like the procedural approach and the bare minimum effort of running the apartment.
