The hotel is in the best location if you are catching a train within Italy or traveling to Switzerland. The staff were extremely courteous and helpful. The room we stayed in was large and spacious for a party of 4. The room however did not have ac and it was unbearable in this August weather. I am sure it will be fine in other seasons and I would recommend it for those seasons.

The hotel was nice, but it was advertised as having air conditioning and no rooms had it. They moved us to another of their hotels across the road, very quirky, had the Grecian room, it was called Saint Jane.The shower at the Bernina was a bath with a spray hose, but we moved so didn’t use it. Excellent location to get the Bernina express a 2 minute walk. Breakfast was nice and the staff were very accommodating. If it wasn’t hot, I certainly recommend it, lots of heaters in the room for cooler conditions

This hotel was so convenient and situated at the train station for both the Italy train from Milan and also the Bernina Express train. Lovely breakfast and accommodations were perfect. Staff were helpful. Recommend.
