Well located hotel, walkable to access many restaurants and night life. A subway station right in front of it. Quite and very clean rooms at all times. Wish it had a more stable Wi-Fi, as it drops considerably. In overall, will stay again and is very suitable for Biz travelers.

We always stay in akasaka excel hotel for over 6 times whenever we go to Tokyo. So sad it will close down on 31 aug. We will surely miss the convenient location and great service and my usual room 743!!!

Highly recommend. Room spotless, bed comfy and firm. Park-facing side nice and quiet. Parking ¥1500 with in/out hard to beat in area. Check-out extended to 13:00 for Comfort Members. Excellent value.

Super convenient location across from Akasaka station! I thought checkout would be 11am but I was pleasantly surprised when they said 1pm! Also enjoyed the shower with multiple shower heads and great water pressure. Only thing to note is the bathroom has two steps so be careful!

The bathroom was smelly when I arrived the first day and it was impossible to clean so I have asked the hotel staff (Ms Sato was very helpful) to inform house keeping to clean well the next day. The drink voucher was not given to me in the beginning and I have to ask for it - it is just for coffee or tea, not for a real drink ! In general, the hotel is very comfortable and safe. It is very well located and convenient.

Average hotel

Rooms are very noisy - single glazed windows meant you heard everything on the street. Still a lot of needless paranoia around COVID including use of environmentally unfriendly gloves for breakfast which are little value apart from wasting plastic and which will end up on a landfill somewhere. Japan eased rules surrounding masks but we were still obliged to wear them for breakfast.
