For the price of the breakfast, you can probably get something cheaper in the surrounding area. Free noodles at night, icrecream and probiotic drinks are welcome perks. Onsen time for women is a lot less than for men. Great view from the room if you have a room on the river side.

We booked this hotel because of the public bath / spa within the property. Upon arrival, we found out that the spa is open for men only Monday, Tuesday , Wednesday and Thursday. Women only allow to use the spa Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 10am to 8pm and the rest of the days are men only. Not only the spa is not available to us (3 females) during our entire stay, I found that split between the genders is highly unfair. We were very disappointed about this arrangement. The front desk staff said the bathhouse hour is stated on their website but I was expecting such operating schedule and didn’t check the website ahead of time. The hotel offers a free entrance to the hotspring house nearby, but we didn’t end up going. Other than that, the amenities at the hotel is good, complimentary ramen at night, ice cream and popsicles.

Very nice stay, the location of the hotel is fantastic! Walking distance to Asakusa Station, to Sensoji temple and Skytree. The staff was very friendly and the bowl of ramen we got on the evenings were perfect, the onsen at the hotel was cozy and simple and there was a good massage chair and soda machines next to it. What was unfortunately less good was that the rooms are very small (as you can imagine it is usually in Tokyo) and it smelled of smoke, the smell did not disappear even though we aired it, it also felt like they needed to freshen up the rooms a little and get a little softer pillows as the ones they had were rock hard. Otherwise we were very satisfied with our stay and would love to come back again! Very grateful.
