The hotel was in a very convenient spot - close to the Gonzalez subway line as well as lots of great restaurants.
The room was very quiet at night making for a great sleep. Loved the pyjamas and slippers that were available to use.
We had a fantastic stay at the Hotel Monterey. The staff were friendly and helpful, the room was excellent and huge by Tokyo standards, and the location is fantastic.
I have to say that I’ve seen many hotels in Japan, but the staff at this hotel were very friendly during the evening. They offer apple juice and green tea. They also offer some facial amenities as well as bath salt the areas located near Lawson 711 in the Starbucks and the train station.

Clean tidy rooms, good breakfast, friendly staff. Awesome location near the subway to help visit Tokyo.
The property is a very nice boutique hotel, quiet and clean. Rooms are decent size, the optional breakfast is superb. Staff are kind and helpful. Excellent hotel.
This place is a classic beauty, and if you have a park view it's amazing! You can tell that it's an older place but it holds up well! My only issue was getting the AC to do what I wanted it to do, other than that this place is peachy.
The neighbourhood has many good options for everything from Denny's to Harry Potter (sadly missed both of them, perhaps next time), tons of traditional places, and definitely high quality food options. The streets are littered with good cafes, and close to great transit options.
I happened to get a really great rate for the stay, had I paid the full boat I think that I would be just as happy.
LOVED the complimentary tea and oddly good apple juice upon checkin! Finally, the staff is top-shelf white glove great!
I would stay again!
