Manager Taka and Cathleen were genuinely kind and helpful. They made our stay feel comfortable. The neighborhood was quiet and perfect. We loved our stay!
Lovely staff, they all speak English very well. The hotel is in a quiet neighborhood, close to Minowa subway station, walking distance to shops, restaurants and a small supermarket, and several 7/11. Each apartment has a washing machine and a small kitchen.
Great customer service making us feel welcomed and not too far from Minowa Station (~5 min walk)! Hotel is in a fairly quiet residential area with some local hidden gems. Would stay here again if we decide to come back.
Great Place to stay and it’s close to the Train Station. And they let us check in earlier when the room is available. The Staffs are very friendly and helpful as well. Room is neat, clean and has no any problem whatsoever. Will definitely come back to this Hotel again in the future.

All staffs were very friendly and flexible to our requests! Just one thing to recommend that we staid 2 BD , each room has TV but living room so would be nicer if they had TV in the living room ! But over all we’re excellent!!! We will definitely come back!!
Fantastic 4 night stay in HOTEL SAILS! Had all the right amenities for our stay; We took advantage of the washing machine and dryer, table, and fridge. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Umbrellas available to use free of charge during the day. Was a 5 minute walk away from Minowa Train station; with the Hibiya Line.
Fairly accessible from the closest subway station. A decent selection of convenience stores and dining options near the hotel. The list of recommendations in the book supplied in the room is outdated. Staff is amazing and responsive. I noticed I can hear movements from neighbouring rooms.
Beautiful hotel but also amazing staff! Great amenities in the hotel and the room. Beautiful rooms and super clean with even a washing machine and stove top. Additionally, they were incredibly helpful, going more than above and beyond to help us with luggage delivery. He helped us with filling out the form and even walked us (and carried our suitcase!) to the 711! He helped translate for us and provided so much help! Everything is above and beyond, super highly recommend!
Spacious apartment for Tokyo, with balcony. Cleaning service every second day. Some rust on the bathroom shelf and the microwave. Good neighbourhood eateries and small supermarkets in the area. 500m to Minowa subway station. Reception staff were excellent, very friendly and helpful, especially Mr Taka.
We prefer the Hotel Sails in Asakusa a little bit more due to the location.
This is our second time staying at this property. We absolutely love the area. The train station is near, convenient store near, a park, and food options. The best part is the service. The staff speaks English which is a plus for foreigners. We always have excellent service here; this is why we will always return when we go to Japan. Staff helped us when we had issues with our baggage delivery. The service is top notch each time we return. The property is always clean and comfortable. We travel with our family and the rooms are big enough to accommodate everyone. They have two-bedroom apartments for bigger parties. Highly recommend.
Hotel Sails exceeded our expectations. As a family with a 7 and 10 year old, we wanted a little extra space and two rooms. The hotel delivered well on that front, with two bedrooms and a small kitchen and dining space. It was clean, and felt spacious by Tokyo standards. What really made the hotel is the extremely helpful owner on the front desk, with perfect English he was happy to help and answer questions.
It's not a central Tokyo location, but 2 stops up from Ueno and 4 from Akihabara, there's plenty within easy reach. Minowa itself was quiet and peaceful, but we also found some excellent small dining options here which felt very authentic. There's a few 7-Eleven stores to pick up supplies and breakfast as well.
This isn't a 5 star hotel in Shinjuku, but that's not what we were looking for. We wanted something affordable that offered family space. It being a little out of the way wasn't a problem for us, so if you don't mind that, it's worth considering!
This was a perfect hotel for 6 nights in Tokyo. The apartment included a washer and dryer, decent sized balcony, and spacious shower with good water pressure. There was also a kitchenette, with big fridge and microwave. It's about a 5 minute walk from the nearest subway station, keep in mind it's a major commuter line to very busy on weekday mornings. The hotel is off the main road, so it's very quiet and peaceful at night. The hotel staff all spoke English well, and were happy to answer any questions about the area. The hotel offered reasonable room service without being too overbearing, two cleanings and one change of sheets and towels for 6 nights. I had a triple twin room, which felt spacious for 3 people. I highly recommend this hotel, especially for the price.
