My husband and i spent three nights here after arriving in Japan. We found the hotel location was well located within easy walking distance to many restaurants and shops, but far enough away for quiet.
The property is lovely with beautiful decor including a large balcony with many plants, which is rare for Tokyo. The rooms were small, but we made do. Everything was clean and well-appointed. It's a quiet atmosphere, but not sleepy or boring.
The staff was exceedingly polite, professional, and helpful. They spoke enough English that communication for us, who unfortunately don't speak Japanese, wasn't an issue.
The breakfast at the hotel was excellent, and we took full advantage. The ingredients were varied, both healthy and indulgent, and catered mainly to Western tastes. We especially appreciated the fresh fruit, light salad offerings, yogurt, and excellent croissants and other baked items. The coffee--both caffeinated and decaf options were very good. And the dining area is light-filled and spacious.
We would book here again if we come back to Tokyo.
