My first time in Japan and I'm glad I picked this hotel... it was easy to get to on the train from the haneda airport and also from shibuya crossing... the staff was very friendly... the breakfast was good (esp. the chicken karaage)... I loved the washer & dryer and it wasn't too intimidating to figure out how to use... I'd def. stay here again next time I visit japan

I have nothing but great things to say about Tokyu Stay Takanawa. Not only were the staff friendly and helpful, but the property is in a great location for first-time visitors. The Tokyo Metro and JR lines were just a short walk from the hotel (2mins max). We enjoyed the breakfast every day of our stay (even when we returned for our second stay) and the food options were traditional Japanese items, along with American options. The hotel is safe and only allows for guests to access their assigned floor with their room key. Last and most convenient thing, each room is equipped with a washer/dryer combo which made it nice to take care of laundry before we returned home. I would highly recommend for first time visitors.

We enjoyed our time at Tokyo Stay Takanawa so much, that we returned for a second stay to end our 14-day trip in Japan. The hotel is located perfectly for first-time visitors. It was so convenient to have both the Tokyo Metro and JR lines just steps from the hotel (2mins max). The hotel is safe and does not allow for solicitors and access to floors is only allowed with your room key. The area was safe to walk in the early/late hours of the day. Breakfast was a huge plus and very good. Japanese and American options were available. The most convenient accommodation had to be that each room is equipped with a washer/dryer combo, which made it nice to return home with zero laundry. I highly recommend a stay at this hotel. You will not be disappointed.
