"We booked the hotel as advertised as a safe place for LGBT+ people, however neither me or my boyfriend felt this we where harassed while we were in one of the shared bathrooms on a different floor to our room as one of the toilets on our floor wasn’t working, I felt very unsafe, as well as this I had to hold the door to the toilet shut as there was no working lock on the door. When we were coming back into the hotel there was a crowd of drunk people standing in the doorway which also made us feel uncomfortable and unsafe. All of the showers near our room were unclean and disgusting there was mould, the floors weren’t clean neither were the mirrors on the back of the door, there were cracks in the ceiling, the shower bases where also disgusting. The room its self was nothing like the photos we saw when we booked, the room was small had no amenities like a kettle or hairdryer. There was a bottle of water there which didn’t have a lid on and looked like it had been sat there for weeks. There was gum stuck on the floor of the room there was mould on the window in the room, it was also dusty especially at the radiator.There was also a screw loose on our door handle which wasn’t great it shows the upkeep of the room isn’t really there. When we went to the one working toilet on our floor that we could get access to in the morning before we left it was absolutely disgusting rubbish everywhere and just unclean. The staff as well weren’t very attentive at all. Overall very disappointed"

I had a Expedia 20% off food & drinks voucher but the hotel failed to deduct this discount on drinks, even though id asked twice - so thats a con Staff at reception require a " personality transplant' as none were welcoming even though we were extremely friendly & polite. Manners cost nothing. "

"Clean room, did notice issue with damp and room was changed without any fuss, things happen like that with old buildings and weather was awful. Right on edge of Merchant City and easy to explore Glasgow. Rooms whilst not large, ideal for short break and comfortable. Don't expect to catch up with more than basic emails as WiFi speed was terrible, again could be issue with old building, though would say sympathetic conversion into an hotel from old print works "

"What a delightful hotel!! From the check-in to everything else about this hotel, I cannot rave enough about it. The lobby is casual and the staff were efficient and friendly. The staff in the restaurant were also very super friendly and very accommodating. I would highly recommend this hotel and chain to anyone, even after only one stay. Will look into staying at this chain in future travels. One of the best hotels that I have stayed at!!"
