The hotel is in a great location for visiting Toronto. It is basic accommodation but we had no issues. The room was nice and the A/C worked fine. The room had everything we needed for a quick overnighter. The staff were very helpful.
We arrived at 7:30 AM, Well before the check in, before even entering the property we were greeted by staff and they offed us an early check in for no additional cost. Our room had a double bed and a single. This hotel has features a lot of others forget, I.e plates, cutlery, a toaster and popcorn bowl. AC the room.
For the price and location it’s hard to beat

Close to Jays stadium. Clean and very economical! Staff nice! Great parking and cheap
We were pleasantly surprised by the welcome. We were expected, received warmly, and given very useful information related to our stay without having to ask for it. Despite the hotel's location in a neighborhood that might seem more or less safe in the evening, the establishment and the room were clean and properly furnished. During the day, we felt safe. There’s a park nearby where musicians put on a show in the afternoon, followed by a dance class. In short, the atmosphere was reassuring in daylight. The location was good in the sense that it was only about a 30-minute walk to Rogers Centre, but again, on the way back to the hotel (at 11 p.m.), we felt less safe than on the way there. We were very satisfied with the cost (for the room, and also for parking). On-site parking is always a plus!

The area has some interesting "characters" around, but the room is great - very clean, as well as safe and secure. The location is great as well, just steps from Queen St W.
I'm glad I only stayed one night. My room was clean (if outdated) and the bed was comfortable, but I think the lower floors of the building are used as a halfway house. There were some people hanging around outside who looked like they'd done some hard living. The hotel is right next to a park where people were playing pickle ball, a band was playing live music, people pushed babies in strollers--and where people were slumped (unconscious?) over picnic tables, a guy was doubled over in the "fentanyl fold," and other unsavory activities were happening. If you're looking for a cheap room, this is where you'll find one. If you want to feel safe, I'd recommend staying somewhere else. Oh, and they charge about $10 Canadian for parking in the hotel lot. I don't know how this place got any 10/10 reviews!!

Great location, the staff was super nice. The rooms have been updated and were very clean as well.
There are some interesting characters in the neighbourhood, but the price and location were well worth it for our visit.

It’s not a big deal just nice to know that at least one floor is not a hotel but apartments for unhoused folks. There were no incidences and they seemed nice, just feel like people deserve to know all the information. (Found out by talking to one such person in the elevator). Room was very clean.
The staff was very helpful and attentive. The room was clean and we loved having the ability to have our meals in our room because of the little kitchinette. The proximity to TWH was the main reason for our stay but we were impressed with how easy it would be to travel by streetcar to the Skydome, CN Tower and other main attractions in downtown Toronto.
Kitchen had the basics except dish soap!! lol
Parking was OK. Keep your vehicle locked since a number of people hang around the area.
MacDonalds and Tim Hortons are close by since there is no coffee maker in kitchen.
Room was very clean and NOT worn out.
The staff was the only good thing here. Good people doing the best with what they have. One thing not mentioned in any description of this property is that there are existing long term tenants of the building. These tenants immediately made me feel unsafe. Upon entering my room I was greeted by an old, damp carpet and a shower without proper heat regulation. This is a $10 room not a $150. There are no amenities. On top of it all I was made to pay an additional $200 security deposit which again, was never mentioned in any description. I still haven't received that back.
