A modern single story property with 1 x double and 1 x twin bedroom each with own ensuite. Large lounge/kitchen diner/family room. Private sun trap rear patio and front courtyard (adjacent to owners property). 2 small well behaved dogs welcome. Access to most of 9 acres of owners garden/land which is perfect to exercise yourself or your dogs. Near Instow. Bude and Hartland 30 mins, and easy access for shopping in Bideford or Barnstaple.

Great for Instow beach, Westward Ho! Etc

Lovely walks or biking along Tarka trail about 10mins away.

We have a small model village too !

* CCTV - To protect your data, security and privacy we wish to inform you we have CCTV operating on the property which will capture your arrivals and departures in your vehicle. Please note there are none in the courtyard of the front of cottage, in the cottage itself, or at the back of the cottage. The cameras only cover the main drive and rear of our house. If you do not wish us to have the CCTV in operation during your stay please advise and we will delete any records of your stay

* Owners Dog - Please note we have our own well behaved (mostly!) dog on site

Devon cottage

A really lovely property very comfortable and spacious had everything you needed for a lovely relaxing break good position to get about Graham and Andy were exceptional host loved the scone cream &strawberries and we had some lovely strawberries from there garden our 2 doggy's loved the space to run around so they enjoyed there holiday too would definitely come back and stay in this wonderful cottage we were very lucky had fab weather

Excellent Holiday Bungalow

Excellent stay at this spotlessly clean and spacious bungalow in perfect grounds if have a dog, hosts were perfect, on hand if needed and great to have a chat with, would stay again and highly recommend.

Lovely cottage in North Devon

The cottage was perfect. It was, spacious and had everything you needed within the property. The bottle of wine and cream tea was a nice surprise. The hosts were very welcoming.

Excellent base to visit North Devon

The location was great, we were able to travel easily and reach Port Issac andTintagel and Bude in Cornwall and also Lynton and Lynmouth, The property was very clean and very comfortable. The garden at the front and back were secure for our dog. We enjoyed it.

Summer in Devon

Apart from the British weather the stay in Devon was relaxing and restful. The cottage was a good size, clean with everything thought out well by the hosts Graham and Andy. The hosts were welcoming and at all times tried to keep our holiday private, although helpful if we required anything which was very little. The grounds were huge and more than enough to exercise our Golden Retriever when required. All in all great accommodation and hosts.

Great relaxing break

Fantastic communication from start of the booking process to after departure. Cottage was as expected, very clean and probably the best equipped property we have stayed in. The cream tea, wine and doggie treats for Ralph on arrival were a great touch. Grounds were great for Ralph to run around and he enjoyed his play with Sam. Needed to relax and it certainly ticked that box. Thanks both.

Lovely place to stay in beautiful countryside.

The cottage is situated in beautiful countryside not far from the coast. It has everything you need for a very comfortable stay and is very dog friendly with a fenced in patio area as well as a large area of land to walk a dog. Instow beach nearby is an excellent place to take the dogs for a walk and Appledore is a lovely to sit and eat fish and chips on the sea front. Graham is very welcoming and explained everything to us on arrival. The welcome cream tea, strawberries, milk and wine were very much appreciated along with the basics such as salt, pepper, sugar, cooking oil and sauces. I would definitely recommend this cottage for a relaxing, stress free holiday that is about 15 minutes drive to the coast. Thank you Graham and Andy.

Perfect in all respects. The very best accommodation that I’ve experienced booking with VRBO

The cottage was excellently appointed. Much thought had gone into every aspect of comfortable living. The kitchen was equipped with all that was needed, the living room area had really comfy arm chairs and a good sink-into sofa. The large TV was great with the variety of streaming options making it feel as if you were at the cinema! The bedrooms were spacious. The beds were really comfortable with high quality memory foam mattresses and the bedding and all the linen and towels were top quality. Everywhere was spotlessly clean. The showers in the bathrooms were really powerful, almost monsoon like which was a great treat. Altogether I cannot rate the cottage highly enough and I am sure future guests would agree with my feedback.

Lovely property, nice peaceful location and wonderful hosts. Had 1 small issue mid way through our stay, but Graham was over in a flash with his DIY tools and came to the rescue. Delicious welcome treats for all (including our dog) and a folder with literally every piece of information about the cottage and local area you could ever need. Overall: fabulous, definitely recommend.

We had a fantastic two week stay. The property was great, very spacious, clean and fully equipped.Graham an Andy were prefect hosts, friendly, helpful and very responsive to requests.The location was good. Very quiet with a magnificent garden and grounds. Prefect for walking the dog. A car is essential, however.

Great Accommodation
