"Lovely hotel for after your hikes. The onsens were nice. The temperature was perfect for me. It is a dated hotel but i think the amenities were still good. You also get a free bath salt for completing 3 of the onsens. The staff were very nice and accommodating. You can leave your luggage even before check in and I was able to access the rooftop or mountain observatory. The buffet dinner and breakfast has a lot of variety so I think everyone has something for them there"

"Excellent onsen hotel right at the end of the first day of the Kohechi Kumano Kodo pilgrimage trail. I came for the onsen and mountain seclusion, but they had such good maps of the Kohechi at the front desk that I decided to walk back to Koyasan the day I checked out. It’s about 20km through the mountains from Nosegawa Onsen to Koyasan, walking on a mix of well-kept trails and paved roads; overall, a moderately difficult hike with very good signage. I highly recommend Kohechi hikers to stay at...

"Absolutely a superb experience here. The room was stunning and the food top notch. There is clearly so much care and attention here. It was lovely to be able to attend the morning ceremony as well. Highly recommend it. I'll be coming back for sure."
