Pros: - Good location for Deauville/Honfleur area. - Comfortable beds and hot gushy walk in showers - Lovely garden with furniture for outdoor eatingCons: - Terrible communication with property manager which resulted in us finding ourselves outside a gated community without the code. Leaving the car outside we walked into the community and, luckily found a couple of people outside a property and they were the agents. Note that the community does not any written signage at the gate identifying the development (just a number) and the house itself does NOT have a number - so make sure you get detailed info from the property manager before you go - Very uncomfortable lounge furniture - low bean bag level. As other have done, brought in the garden furniture.- House is not new as per the blurb, but has been rented since 2016 according to the reviews. Some elements of kitchen equipment show its age. Chipped crockery .... - -- The hanging space for clothes upstairs is all in the main bedroom nothing in other 2 bedrooms. Seems odd having to go into someone else's room to get your clothes- No smart TVDid not use pool or hot tub.

Dommage que le portail ne soit toujours pas réparé (nous sommes venus il y a deux ans et il est dans le même état, il ne se ferme pas. Le pisciniste ne nettoie pas bien la piscine, juste après son passage c’est aussi vert qu’avant. Hier il a laissé le tuyau dans la piscine pour refaire le niveau, m’a dit je repasse, n’est pas repassé.

La maison est agréable. La literie est très confortable. Le jardin est spacieux, arboré, clos et silencieux. Equipements extérieurs au top ! Parfait pour une famille.On a cependant regretté qu'il n'y ait que 3 transats autour de la piscine, que le Tancarville soit inutilisable, qu'il manque des ustensiles dans la cuisine et qu'il n'y ait aucun porte-manteau pour suspendre ses vêtements dans les chambres ou salles de bain.

Properly is lovely - a few bits and pieces need updated (mainly the kitchen area and utensils etc) but it didn’t spoil our overall holiday. Communication with the owner was good before and during our stay. Concierge didn’t speak English and we don’t speak French but we used a translate app - and it worked perfectly. She was lovely and very helpful. Perfect location for visiting Touques and Deauville. It’s such a beautiful part of the world. Private house with villa in a gated community - felt very safe. Amazing that we got to bring our little dog with us from Scotland. I’d definitely book this property again and we were very sad to leave. We were very lucky with the weather which helped our overall experience.

Séjour parfait

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour en famille dans cette magnifique maison. Elle est joliment décorée, avec beaucoup de goût, et offre tout le confort nécessaire pour se sentir comme chez soi. La cuisine est particulièrement bien équipée – un vrai plaisir pour les amateurs de cuisine !La grande piscine chauffée est un vrai plus, très agréable à toute heure de la journée, tout comme le jacuzzi, spacieux et bien chaud, parfait pour se détendre. Les lits sont très confortables, nous avons tous très bien dormi.Un grand merci à Éric pour son accueil chaleureux et attentionné. Il s’est montré adorable et très disponible tout au long de notre séjour. Nous reviendrons avec grand plaisir !

Expérience très décevante pour un tarif exorbitant

Nous souhaitons faire part de notre profond mécontentement concernant notre séjour du 8 mai. Le rapport qualité-prix est clairement inacceptable : nous avons payé 1973,60 pour trois nuits, et les prestations promises n’étaient pas au rendez-vous.Premièrement, la piscine venait tout juste d’être remplie, elle était donc glaciale et inutilisable. Nous n’avons pas été prévenus de cette situation, et avons même été dérangés dès 8h50 le jeudi matin par le pisciniste. Le jacuzzi était dans un état déplorable : sale, avec des pièces qui se détachaient dès l’activation des bulles. Contrairement à ce qui est annoncé, il a mis deux jours pour atteindre une température correcte, et non une heure.De plus, plusieurs équipements annoncés ne fonctionnaient pas : la machine Nespresso était hors service, tout comme le bain à remous au premier étage – une information qui n’était pas mentionnée dans l’annonce. Certains éléments de mobilier étaient également dégradés, comme les poignées de portes qui se détachaient, et nous avons constaté un manque flagrant de vaisselle, notamment de verres.Malgré un signalement à la conciergerie, nous n'avons reçu aucune réponse ni assistance.Ce séjour ne correspond en rien à ce que l’on peut attendre d’une location à ce prix. Nous considérons avoir été trompés sur la qualité des prestations et estimons que ce montant relève tout simplement de l’abus. Nous demandons un geste commercial en conséquence.

Lovely holiday home

We had a lovely week in this holiday home. We would rebook for sure. Check-in was great, Charles was friendly and explained how everything worked. Four stars as there were a few things the owner could improve: 1. A welcome pack would be a nice touch, especially as we had travelled 10hours to reach the holiday home, maybe some local produce. 2. The ping pong ball is sellotaped together, so we could not play that. 3. The clothes horse has seen better days and needs replacing. 4. Hot tub was on 21C when we arrived, so we missed one day of use, also it could do with a clean as there is a lot do sediment . Hope this helps improve the guest experience. As mentioned I would recommend this holiday home.

Excellent séjour

Excellent séjour. Maison très agréable avec un magnifique jardin disposant d'une grande piscine, ping pong, terrain de pétanque et jaccuzzi. Jardin particulièrement bien conçu, quasiment pas de vis à vis avec les maisons autour et environnement très calme. La maison est agréable à vivre, très bonne connection internet (fibre). La recharge pour véhicule électrique est pratique. Communication fluide avec la conciergerie.

Great find

Lovely property around 5 min drive from Deauville. Great set up for family of 4 and our dog. Secure grounds, great facilities, very quiet. Good communication with the host and professional greeting & handover. We arrived on a Sunday so be warned to get a shop done as most places had closed by midday. Would definitely return!

Sejour très agréable : maison spacieuse et bien située . Il faudrait faire un effort sur la vaisselle( au moins des verres et assiettes identiques ) 1 torchon pour 8 pour 3 jours semble un peu juste et insister un peu sur le ménage : nombreuses toiles d’araignées … même si on est à la campagne !! Le jacuzzi ne chauffe pas en 1/4 h comme précisé par la conciergerie : en partant il était toujours qu’à 22 degrés !!

Très bon séjour

Jolie maison spacieuse et lumineuse. Très propre et bien équipée. La piscine couverte est un plus en septembre. Dommage qu’il n’y ait pas de douche dans la suite parentale. La longueur du flexible de la baignoire permet uniquement de se laver les pieds. Nous aurions apprécié avoir une télécommande pour le portail du domaine. Service de conciergerie très réactif. Bonne communication avec le propriétaire et le service de conciergerie. Un joli écrin de verdure (le jardin est très joli), à deux pas de Deauville. Nous reviendrons avec plaisir.

Very good stay, but....

Firstly, there seemed to be some confusion as to who should give us final directions to the house, with the result that no-one actually gave us any at all, except for a vague address which landed us in the wrong gated community. We rang for better directions and were told the name of the community and the gate code, but not the house number. After driving round the whole area several times, we decided to wait for the caretaker to take us to the house. The house itself was lovely, as were the grounds, and it is an excellent location but, at the price we were paying, we expected better – less niggling problems and perhaps a welcome pack. Surely local producers would welcome the chance to showcase their wares, at discount prices. As for the niggling problems, the mat outside the front door hides a nasty hole which could be potentially dangerous. There were a couple of lights which didn’t work, particularly the one on the stairs. The handle on the downstairs wc is faulty, and the lock is very stiff. The spa bath in the upstairs en suite obviously doesn’t work, and neither does the cooker hood. Outside, the barbeque obviously needs replacing.The beds were a little on the low side, but extremely comfortable. The sofas in the living room, however, were extremely low and proved absolutely impossible for our 70 year old knees. We resorted to bringing in some of the garden furniture if we wanted to watch the television! Overall, it is an excellent house but needs a little attention.
