Lovely hotel with a lot of charm. We were in the area for a weekend event and couldn’t be happier with the hotel. Easy parking, and the restaurant was also great. Sunday roast was A+!

Good old hotel. Great evening meal. Cooked breakfast a little dry and felt heated up but nice fruit and pastries. Bed excellent and room nice. Toilet seat loose.

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service
Disliked: Property conditions & facilities
Good points: Clean, friendly and good location.
Bad points: Noisy. Lots of road noise as windows are not great. Can hear all bar noise when in bed. Shower and hot water awful.
Great experience, the young girls as staff were great, attentive and polite, the food was excellent.
I booked a dinner bed and breakfast package which I felt was a good deal, having had the experience it made the deal even better.
First Class, well done The Saracen !
My best description for this hotel is that it is ok. It’s what you can expect from a three star hotel. Very basic bedroom with old creaky furniture and old bathroom fittings. Road noise from front facing rooms is not good. Some staff were not great or helpful but location is good, breakfast is good. All in all it was ok but wouldn’t choose to return.
For the money, as a sole traveller on business, it was great. Parking; clean, comfortable no-nonsense room; reasonable bar prices. Service was great, professional and very friendly.
