We loved having the river right outside our room. A fire pit and grills are available too. Great place to stay for a great price. We would love to go back again. It is really nice to have a laundry on site too, since stayed 5 nights.

Best accommodations experience of trip. Nothing luxurious just solid. Friendly accommodating staff, tidy efficient room with good decent mattress, really good pillows and linens, and excellent shower pressure! The AC unit cooled fine but was a little noisy. And we loved being able to park right outside our door, just like āmotelā implies. Iāll enthusiastically recommend this hotel to friends who often stay in fancier places.

Room was clean and very comfortable. The restaurant in the same building served excellent food. The food was as good if not better than some of the fine dining restaurants in Anchorage. Will definitely stay at the Soldotna Inn again.

This is one of our favorite places to stay when we go to the Peninsula. Staff is always friendly and helpful.
During this stay our full sized refrigerator and freezer stopped working on day two. They immediately swapped it out for a new one. While we weāre waiting for the new unit to cool down to temperature the manager went out and bought 5 bags of ice to help keep food cold in our coolers. She also compensated us $100 for the food that did get ruined.
Weāve already booked our stay for next...

The only quirk was you had to call a number on the door to get a code text to you to open the door. I'm from Maine visiting Alaska so my reception was terrible. The lady showed up while I was waiting for the text to come through and assisted me. Once I got in the text came through.

Paul was an excellent chef and host would recommend this place to everyone. Wish we could have had a longer stay and get a chance to eat dinner with him.
