"It was clean and the staff was friendly, but we didn’t end up staying here. We arrived and after seeing the location and room, we immediately left. If you have your own transportation, and you prefer a quiet place away from the city center, it would be a great choice. It is clean and charming but may be seen as dated."

"If you are looking for an oasis then stay here. Everything about Hotel Villa Belvedere is spectacular: the breath-taking view, gorgeous decor, peaceful and stunning pool area, kind, patient and helpful staff, The location is also fantastic as you can easily walk to many sites: bars, restaurants, beach, etc. Our breakfast was delicious! It was heavenly to sit out on the deck sipping a cappuccino each morning. I would highly recommend this family owned establishment. We had a wonderful stay!"

Hotel Ariston & Palazzo Santa Caterina

"Hotel was good overall Location is really great with Taormina's main high street areas 10 min walk away The pool area is also so nice with beautiful views of the surrounding hills However, the public areas really need attention, as the reception, lobby, dining areas, bedroom corridors and lift etc . . . are terrible and look like they have not been updated since the 1960s Not being able to use the pool until 9.30 and after 6 pm is also rather annoying Breakfast is good though Also bad advice given by the hotel in terms of car parking - leading to a close on crash encounter with a nearby motorbike"
